I purchased two ELF eyeshadows recently looking at the labels they’ve mentioned above the eyeshadows. I got attracted to their concept of specifying the appropriate use of the eyeshadows. Let’s get into the review and know about the shade “Blushing Beauty” in detail.

How to Use:
Apply the shade labeled ‘Lid’ all over your eyelid using a soft, eye defining brush.
Blend the eyeshadow labeled ‘Crease’ into the crease of your eyelid with an eye crease brush to add depth.
Use the eyeshadow labeled ‘Line’ on the outer corner of your eye and blend into the ‘Crease’ shade. Apply it on your lower lash line for a well-defined eye.
With a small smudge brush, apply the Base shade as a highlighter on your brow bone and the inner corners of your eye.
Get your flawless look by blending in all the colors together, making sure there are no visible edges between the different shades.

My Experience with ELF Blushing Beauty Flawless Eyeshadow:
I’ve purchased the shades “Tantalizing Taupe” and “Blushing Beauty”, and both are different in terms of pigmentation, but the formulation of the product is the same in both the shades. I’ve read mixed reviews about these eyeshadows and got two for myself to see how these would fare. I did not mind taking a chance as they are super affordable.
The packaging of the product is great and travel-friendly as it comes in a tiny plastic case, which has four different eyeshadows to complete one whole eyeshadow look. The white plastic case looks very simple with a transparent lid that shields the eyeshadows. Each eyeshadow is sectioned properly and doesn’t mix or transfer into the other. The name of the shade has been labelled at the back in a tiny silver coloured circle sticker. It also has a mirror that has been housed below the eyeshadows, and just above the mirror, you can see a dual sponge eyeshadow applicator resting on it. I liked how smartly this has been manufactured to minimise the space, and it is easy to carry and requires very minimal space in your handbag.
Both the eyeshadows I’ve purchased are super pigmented. When it comes to eyeshadows, I prefer buying ones that are pigmented. The color of these eyeshadows show off well in a single swipe when I tried it on hand but, when I tried to use it on my bare eyelids, I’ve noticed that it has fallout issues and, it didn’t show off the actual color on lids. Applying a primer or an eyeshadow base is a must for this product. I’ve tried many eyeshadows that work well without a primer but, it isn’t the case with ELF eyeshadows. Moreover, when I try to apply it on my lids, it fades within no time and isn’t visible much. I had a hard time creating an eye makeup look with this one as it didn’t show off much on the lids. The provided eyeshadow applicator is fine, not that bad but, I would anytime prefer an eye shadow brush to a sponge applicator.
The palette case contains four different eyeshadows each one of it serving a purpose, which helps you in creating a pink eye makeup look.
• Base: The base eyeshadow is a very dull off-white shade with a slight pink undertone in it. I didn’t like it much as it doesn’t help in enhancing the pink eyeshadow when applied on lids over the base. This one just failed and didn’t really work well as any other good base eyeshadow would do.
• Lid: I pretty much liked this shade of pink. It also has subtle shimmer in it, and the shade looks absolutely lovely after application.
• Crease: It’s a perfect matte brown color for defining the crease. This kind of brown is neither light nor dark but somewhere in middle, which compliments the pink shade perfectly. Both the brown and pink shades look good together.
• Line: This one is a darker shade of brown, which is useful to line the upper and lower lash line. I found this shade to be an utter waste, and it doesn’t show off the color even after swiping multiple times close to the upper lash line.
Overall, I’m not very impressed with the product. It’s just the pretty pink shade I loved from this case, as it seemed a little different from my other pink eyeshadows. Even though these eyeshadows are creamy in texture, it has fallout issues and fades quickly. I would any time prefer pigmented eyeshadows with no fallout issues that are intense in color and stays for a longer time.

No, I wouldn’t repurchase or recommend these eyeshadows as there are many better options available in the market to choose from.
