Colored eyeliners are in the season. All the beauty Gurus has showed us that Black isn’t the only option. I picked up a few colored liners from Essence and today’s review is all about Essence Long lasting 29 Berry Fantastic Eye Pencil Review. Read on to know more.

My Experience with Essence Long Lasting Eye Pencil 29 Berry Fantastic:

The eye pencil comes in a self-sharpening plastic pencil with white writing. The body and the cap matches with each other and denotes the shade of the pencil. The cap closes well. The product is unsealed. There is some information on the pencil. The pen is automatic and you just turn the end of the pencil and the eye pencil will pop out.

There are several shades available in this range. “Berry Fantastic” is a beautiful berry shade. It is a mixture of purple and red shade. I absolutely love the shade. It is a very good fall shade. I would totally love to rock it in autumn to match the surroundings! The pigmentation is great and with a single sweep you can get a very good color payoff.

The product is very creamy and glides very well. It is soft and this makes it prone to breakage. If you apply a little pressure, it easily breaks. Only the top is pointy and once you start using it, the pencil starts to become blunt and you will end up with thick lines. More than using it as a liner, I would prefer to blend it out to create a more smokey kind of look. Product doesn’t transfer and smudge which is great. It sits well even on the oily lids. You do not need a primer to extend the wear of the eye liner.

The product, even though is creamy, does pull a little while application. The product is great when you use it with a gold eye look. The product is long-lasting and stays on for a good 8 hours without any issues. I absolutely love the shade and the formula. The product contains carmine and thus it is not vegan. The product is pretty inexpensive and I love everything about it. I do not have any negatives to write about it. It is one that is worth a try. So, summing up
