My Experience with Essence My Must Haves Eyeshadow Tiffunny:

Let’s begin with packaging of the product. The eye shadow comes in a tiny, round, black-colored plastic pan with a clear lid. The lid bears the brand’s tagline embossed on it like any other Essence eyeshadow but the packaging of these eyeshadows is a bit different from regular Essence eyeshadow pans. These are comparatively smaller and these pans can be carried along or can be customized in an eyeshadow palette as well. This offers a freedom to customize a palette with the eye shadows of your choice, which is travel friendly as well.

The lid of the pan closes nicely but it does not shut too tightly and may come off while carrying in the makeup pouch. The clear lid helps to spot the shade easily from makeup stash. The simple round pans are easily stackable. The back of the pan has a small circular sticker bearing the shade name and number along with other necessary information about the product. It does not come with any applicator, but this is not really a con for me, as I do not prefer using those small sponge applicators that usually come with such mono eyeshadows. Overall, the packaging of the product is fine but the eye shadows must be packed securely while carrying around, as the plastic of the pans seems quite fragile and may break.

“Tiffuny” is a pretty shimmery silver eyeshadow. It is loaded with lots of silver shimmers. The shimmers in the eyeshadow are quite large than what you see in normal shimmery eyeshadows, hence it works great as a glittery topcoat. This shade is apt for a glam eye makeup look. It is amazing for creating party and wedding makeup looks. It is not suitable for daytime use since it has that extra bling in it. The glittery finish looks lovely on the eyes and is great for creating festive or party makeup looks. The formula is decently pigmented and it requires two swipes to achieve the perfect color and finish.

The texture of this eye shadow is soft and smooth. It has a velvety feel in it. It glides effortlessly on the eyelids and it is really easy to blend the eye shadow. It does not get patchy. The eyeshadow does not have the tendency to crease. The eye shadow does not smudge at all.

Since, this is a shimmery eye shadow, there are a little fallout issues but I am happy that once it sets the shimmers in the eye shadow does not budge at all. The longevity of the eye shadow is somewhere around 6-7 hours on my eyelids with an eye primer underneath, which is pretty decent for a drugstore brand. Overall, these eye shadows have a decent quality according to their price tags.
