I usually don’t use cuticle removers, as it causes harm if used incorrectly. I bought some nail care products from Essence and today’s review is all about Studio Nails Fast Cuticle Remover. Read on to know more about the product.

Advice: This gel removes excess cuticles fast & effective. Once a week apply gel on cuticles, wait 15 sec. & gently push back cuticles. Wash hands after use.

My Experience with Essence Studio Nails Fast Cuticle Remover:
The cuticle remover looks like a nail polish. It comes in a glass bottle with a white screw cap. There is a lot of information on the back of the bottle. The product doesn’t come sealed. The bottle is travel-friendly and is easy to carry. The lid houses the sponge applicator.
The cuticle remover is gel-like and is medium thick. It looks clear and the smell is weird. It has a light chemical smell but it is not very strong.
The usage is pretty easy. The product has to be used once in a week and left on for 15 seconds and then push back the cuticles. Since it takes a while to apply the product, I use it one nail at the time and then push the cuticles. I also bought a cuticle remover from the same brand. Within 15 seconds, the cuticles are soft enough to be pushed. It is not very soft, but soft enough to push it with a pusher. You can also remove the cuticles if necessary. The product loosens the cuticles and is very effective.
The product contains alkali and thus, you need to make sure that you wash your hands thoroughly, as it causes blindness. The sponge applicator is also great and the slant design helps for an easy application. If you have thick cuticle, you can leave it a little longer. The product is just made for cuticle removing and nothing else. It doesn’t provide any moisturisation and nourishment. After you wash your hands, you need nail oil for nourishment.
