Essence Time To Clean Face Cleansing Brush Review

Hello IMBBians,

I am a bit obsessed with exfoliation. I have combinations skin but do get a lot of dry flakes when the temperature goes down. I do invest in exfoliating scrubs and tools often. I have been in love with konjac sponges and recently, I saw a new exfoliating brush launched by Essence, and since it was inexpensive, I picked it up. Today’s review is all about Essence Face Cleansing Brush Review. Read on to know more.

Price:
$2.25
Product Description:
Thanks to its soft bristles, this brush gently removes make-up and cleanses the skin down to the pores for a natural, fresh face.

My Experience with Essence Time To Clean Face Cleansing Brush:

This exfoliating brush from Essence comes in a pouch packaging, it looks so bad. The brush is just placed in the bag and it is bulky at one place and flat at another. I know the price is inexpensive but I wish they could have done the packaging a bit better to attract customers.

The brush is light blue/teal in color and has white bristles with a transparent cap. The design is okay and easier to handle. The transparent cap closes perfectly and I feel it is good in order to prevent dirt from getting accumulated on the brush.

I apply the cleanser on the bristles and then use it to exfoliate the face. I usually use this method because it is faster and easier than using cream on the face and then using the brush to exfoliate.

You must have noticed that I haven’t spoken about the bristles yet and I wanted to keep it for the last, not because it is the best, but instead, it is so bad that I decided to vent it out at the end. The bristles are extremely hard prickly. I don’t even know what Essence thinking was when they made this brush. It is so harsh that it reminds me of the brush bristles that are sold on the roads that hardly cost 10 to 15 INR. The bristles can cause scratching and redness on the skin.

It should not definitely be used on the face at all. I don’t even know if it removes dry skin or exfoliates because the first time I had tried it, I realized it was too harsh for the face. The brush may be suitable for the body but I personally feel it’s harsh on all types of skin. I tried it on my feet a couple of times, but I have soft brushes for my feet and I was not comfortable using this. I have now been using this brush to clean my ornaments. This product is one of those which should never be bought. If I could have tested this one at the store, I would have never picked this one up. This is not worth even a single cent of my money!
