My Experience with Forever 21 Love & Beauty Body Lotion Summer Fruit bouquet – No. 2:
Forever 21’s cosmetic line Love & Beauty has a lot of products with low price point. But, the packaging from this line is really really cute. They have variety of body lotions. This is No. 2 Summer Fruit Bouquet. As the name suggests, this body lotion literally smells very citrusy and fresh. It’s totally like summer in a bottle. The smell is a bit strong as soon as you apply the lotion. But, it goes away after a few minutes. So, it’s not an issue if you don’t like strong smelling lotions.
When I first saw this, I was really amazed by the packaging. I think they have done a very nice job with it. It doesn’t look boring at all sitting on your vanity LOL. It looks really cute and nice (didn’t I mention that already :P). It is quite sturdy and feels of a good quality, not cheap at all. It is a basic tube with a screw-on cap, where you have to squeeze it to get the product out. Easy-peasy.
The quantity of the product is also nice which is 250 ml. It is slightly thicker in consistency. But, it spreads out really nicely and is not at all heavy on the skin. It can be a bit sticky during the initial application, but it is totally absorbed by the skin in a few moments. For me, being a combination to oily skin type person, it is absorbed totally and I think it can be a bit less moisturizing for dry skinned people.
It leaves the skin really smooth and supple upon application. Skin feels really silky to touch. Although, it’s sad that it doesn’t keep the skin hydrated for a whole day long. You may have to reapply it again in 2-3 hours during winters. Overall, it is a nice product for daily use.

- Have to reapply after 2-3 hours.
- May not suit dry skin type.
- Contains parabens.

For oily skin type, it is fine. But for dry skinned people, I would not recommend it.
