My Experience with GHD Platinum Professional Performance Styler:
The packaging is lovely and classy. It comes in a cardboard packaging, which is very well padded. The straighter is black in colour with a small swivel cord attachment. The complete product is matte black, which makes it even more appealing.
The product has tri-zone technology which means there are sensors at three locations on each side of the plate to maintain safe and constant heat all throughout the plates. This also makes sure that hair is straightened evenly from the roots to the tips.
The hinge of the plates is wishbone shaped and provides perfect plate alignment, giving you more control to create any style. This particular model of styler can be used to straighten as well as to curl. The curved edges of the outer plate help in obtaining soft and smooth curls for the wavy looks.
I have used it only to straighten my hair but I have seen a lot of YouTube videos which show how to achieve various styles with it. Hair looks very glossy, smooth and soft after every use. The product is lightweight and very easy to use.
My hand does not get tired while using this styler. Just one slide and the hair is well straightened. It gets heated up very quickly and the whole process is also very quick and effective. The best part is that this can be used on all voltages, be it US, UK, Europe or India.
It is also incorporated with automatic shut off to switch your styler off after 30 minutes of non-use. This is especially useful if you are absent minded.
