Giovanni Frizz Be Gone Hair Serum-Review
Hello readers!

So after trying quite a few hair serums and not quite getting the best results (they only succeeded in keeping my hair soft but not frizz-free at all) for me to buy those again , I decided to try another brand. I came across this one and so here’s the review.
Product Description:
Eco Chic Technology, super smoothing technology anti-frizz hair serum.

Ingredients:
Completely organic. It does not contain SLS, parabens, artificial color, phthalates, or propylene glycol.
Price:
Rs.495 for 78ml, I got it at a discounted price online.
Packaging:
A plastic transparent bottle with a pump-dispenser.
My experience with Giovanni Frizz Be Gone Hair Serum:
My hair type: Thick, wavy, dry and frizzy with a normal-to-dry scalp.
Unlike other serums that I have used, this one’s consistency is pretty thick. It is sticky thick clear liquid. But this is probably the reason why it works so well for my thick unruly mane. I can’t say the same for fine-haired people.
According to the directions mentioned on the bottle, this can be applied on either wet or dry hair. I usually prefer the former. I take a tiny pea-size amount (I have long hair that falls well 5-6 inches below my shoulders), rub it in my palms and then apply along the length. Even though it is a little sticky, it distributes considerably well even on dry hair. I’ve already used this after 3-4 washes (before reviewing) and this product definitely keeps my hair not only very soft but I have almost no frizz too every time. So yeah, this actually works for my hair! 😀
Also it has a lovely floral fragrance that I love, but it doesn’t last long. It has a shelf life of three year and since I require very small quantities at a time, this should last me pretty long.
However, the only minus point for me is the packaging. The locking mechanism for the dispenser isn’t really that great and there is always a possibility of it oozing out with the slightest push, or maybe it was just my piece that was defective. I would have preferred a cap with it though.
Pros of Giovanni Frizz Be Gone Hair Serum:
• Keeps hair soft and frizz free
• Does not contain parabens
• Long shelf life
Cons of Giovanni Frizz Be Gone Hair Serum:
• Only the packaging. ( may cause leaks)
Verdict:
This product should work well for thick wavy or curly frizzy hair.
Will I buy Giovanni Frizz Be Gone Hair Serum again?
Yes, so far this is the only hair serum that has managed to keep most of the frizz in control.
IMBB Rating:
4/5 (minus one for packaging)

sounds like a good one, if we can be a bit careful with the packaging ! Well written Prajakta ! 🙂
Thank you! 🙂
hi Prajakta
Sounds tempting. Which were the other serums that you used?
I have used two of L’oreal (nutri-gloss and smooth intense) and Matrix Biolage before this.
This looks so tempting!! Although I have fine, wavy hair…BUT I WANT TO GET IT!! (Greedy 🙂 )
