How is the preparation for Christmas and New Year going on, guys? I hope everything’s going fine. I have got a few new body washes from Grace Cole because I liked the earlier ones; they are not excellent, but different flavours bring a burst of freshness to regular shower routines. So let’s straight away jump into the review of this Pineapple and Passion Fruit Body Wash.

My Experience with Grace Cole Pineapple and Passion Fruit Body Wash:
I had picked up some body washes and a few mists from Grace Cole. After trying all of those variants, I felt like I needed something new in my life, so I picked up this lovely duo from Grace Cole. The best thing is that these are available separately and as well as in a duo gift set. This is among the most gorgeous looking shower gels I have ever owned. It comes in a huge 500 ml cylindrical bottle which is transparent. But the liquid inside is bright yellow in colour which makes the packaging look so beautiful. It will be a great gifting item as it looks so attractive and there’s an entire range available too.
The gel is pretty much sheer and has a runny consistency. A coin sized amount is required at once. It can be used without a loofah, but with a loofah it tends to create more lather. I have observed that even a coin sized amount, does not lather well. It is quite watery and I have to pour in more shower gel. The cap is a press open one, so very convenient to use, and liquid does not leak at any time. At the time of pouring the shower gel on the loofah, I could finally sniff the fragrance.
It has a heavenly tropical scent of pineapples with a few more fruity hints. It is actually very different to me and I am enjoying it because I have never really used a pineapple wash earlier. It smells exactly like a pineapple lollipop or a creamy pineapple cake. Now, the sad part – the fragrance gets vanished quickly. I agree that no shower gel’s scent lasts after rinsing, but we can smell it at least during scrubbing. I can’t smell this shower gel’s fragrance even when I am taking a bath. The body wash nicely cleanses my skin removing all the impurities, making it clean and fresh. But it might be a little drying for the already dry skin.
I have dry skin currently, so I have to apply a creamy layer of body lotion after using this gel. I have normal to dry skin and my body feels silky after using it, but it lacks hydration. Grace Cole has some serious issues with the lasting power of their fragrances; the body mists also don’t last long and this fragrance lasted just a minute. Is it their fault or am I demanding way too much? I personally think that there is better stuff available.
Pros of Grace Cole Pineapple and Passion Fruit Body Wash:
• Very attractive bottle
• A superb option for gifting
• Good pricing for the huge quantity that they offer
• The gel nicely cleanses my skin leaving it bright and fresh
• It has a lovely scent which smells very similar to a pineapple lollipop or probably a creamy pineapple cake
Cons of Grace Cole Pineapple and Passion Fruit Body Wash:
• Fragrance does not linger; I could smell it only when I had freshly poured it
• I need to apply a moisturiser right after using this as it leaves my skin dry
• It does not lather up well
• I don’t understand their pricing; it varies enormously
Would I Repurchase/Recommend Grace Cole Pineapple and Passion Fruit Body Wash?
There is no way I would get this again. I would probably pick a peach or a strawberry variant as I don’t really love this pineapple one. If you are okay with the lasting power of its fragrance, it’s a steal at this price.
