Hourglass recently came out with “Vanish Flash Highlighting Sticks.” Today, I will be reviewing the highlighter in the shade “Champagne Flash.” So, let us see how this cream highlighting stick fared for me.

My Experience with Hourglass Vanish Flash Highlighting Stick Champagne Flash:
Packaging: The packaging of the Hourglass Vanish Flash Highlighting Stick in “Champagne Flash” is similar to their Hourglass Stick Foundation. The highlighting stick comes in a silver tube. The highlighting stick has a triangular point which allows precise application. Overall, I really love the packaging of this highlighting stick. It is sturdy and travel friendly.
Texture and Application: The highlighting stick has a smooth and creamy finish to it. The highlighter glides on smoothly and has a lightweight feel to it. You can use this highlighter under the foundation to get a natural glow or over the foundation to get an intense glow. You can also use this highlighter to highlight brow bone and your cupid’s bow. The highlight is not glittery. This highlight when blended gives a nice soft and luminous glow which is more natural then intense.
Pigmentation and Coverage: The highlighter is pigmented. You do have to build it up if you want an intense glow. If your goal is to get a natural glow, then this is perfect. This highlighter is perfect to wear for your everyday use.
Shade and Finish: “Champagne Flash” is a beautiful, soft, champagne gold highlighter. This shade is a good dupe for Becca Champagne Pop. The highlighter contains ultra-fine micro spheres and luminescent pigments that are not too shimmery or glittery. This highlighter gives a beautiful sheen to the skin. It did not emphasise any pores or fine lines on my skin. It can be used on tops of the cheekbones, bridge of the nose, and corner of the eyes to get naturally luminous skin. There is no duochrome effect. It has a super lightweight and blend-able formula that imparts a smooth effect and feels like nothing on the skin. This shade of highlighter will suit Indian skin tone perfectly.
Staying Power: The staying power is good. It stays on for around 7 hours without the need to reapply. Even in humid weather, the highlighter doesn’t budge.
Overall, I am really enjoying Hourglass Vanish Flash Highlighting Stick. This is a great on-the- go highlighting product.
