If you want to know, then just keep on reading.

1. Cleanse Correctly

Avoid using alcohol-based cleansers on your face as they can irritate or cause your skin to produce more oil which is definitely you are not looking for! Use a gentle cleanser on your skin and don’t use a cleanser more than twice a day.

2. Don’t Try to Dry Out Your T-Zone

Do not go for super drying formulas to use on your face as they will make your face look uneven. Try to stick to gentle formulas and don’t use anything too drastic on your t-zone.

3. Moisturize Properly

If you don’t properly moisturize, then your skin can become dry, thereby encouraging more oil production. So, using a moisturizer is a must, but don’t just go for any moisturizer. Choose a water-based moisturizer that is non-comedogenic and oil-free. You can also use a combination of two moisturizer; one for your t-zone and another for the rest of your face.

4. Exfoliate Well

You can especially use a scrub only on the desired area. Exfoliating your skin will lead to unclogging of pores and would also keep your t-zone clear of any debris.

5. Multimasking

It is a thing nowadays and is here to stay. You can use multiple masks for your different skin concerns. If you have oily t zone then clarifying masks can help deep clean pores and absorb excess oil. You can go for clay based masks or look out for tea tree oil as their ingredient for your greasy t zone.

6. Blot it Up

There are tons of blotting papers that can soak up excess oil and get rid of excess shine on your face. So, don’t be afraid to use blotting papers whenever you feel your t-zone getting oily.

7. Go for Pressed Powders

After you finish your makeup, choose pressed over loose powder to set your makeup. Pressed powder is ideal for oily skin since it’s on the heavier side and will soak up and control shine much better than a lightweight loose powder.

8. Go Matte

I think it is a no brainer. Using the right foundation formula can help your makeup stay on longer and avoid discoloration that typically happens with oily skin. So, go for mattifying base which will really help with excess oiliness.

9. Don’t Forget to Prime

A good primer will make a world of difference in how your makeup looks and how long it lasts for oily skin. So, do prime your face before applying your makeup and you will definitely notice the difference.

10. Steam Your Face

Take facial steam at least once a week. After steaming, exfoliate your face and then apply a mask. This will improve the overall quality of your face and cleansing of your pores, which will eventually lead to lesser oil production.
