Hair type : Medium length, frizz-prone
Innisfree is known mostly for its skin care products but I took a leap of faith and picked up this shampoo. At the store, I didn’t realise that this shampoo has SLS, otherwise, I would not have bought it. Anyway, this one turned out to be a pleasant surprise for me.

My Experience with Innisfree Camellia Essential Shampoo:
I like the beautiful cherry red packaging. The packaging comes with a cap that dispenses the right amount of product. The bottle is quite sturdy and travel-friendly. It contains 300 ml product but it is not bulky.
As soon as you press to open the cap, a beautiful fragrance welcomes you. The fragrance is fruity and floral and I really like it. I love it when my hair products smell good, especially in summers. This shampoo belongs to the “5-free system” which means it is free of parabens, synthetic colorants, mineral oil, animal-originated ingredients, imdazolidinyl urea. I find this concept quite good and transparent.
The shampoo is transparent and I need to use just a little for I always dilute my shampoos. It lathers well and cleans all the oil and dirt from hair easily. I need not vigorously rub my hair to cleanse it. I wasn’t expecting the shampoo to be as good as it is. It does not dry out my hair; such an amazing surprise for SLS laden shampoos usually dry out my hair and make it frizzy.
It also tames my hair and keep frizz under control. But, that happens only if I use a conditioner and serum after shampooing my hair. My hair remains silky soft and hydrated for the next 2 days. My scalp does not get overly oily or dry either.
Overall I am really enjoying this shampoo these days. It turned out to be such a nice one even though it has SLS and other chemicals. I highly rely on SLS free shampoos for my hair and hence would go back to my regular shampoos once I am done with this one. It does everything it claims to do and makes hair look and feel healthy in the long run.
