My Experience with Jason Purifying and Soothing Tea Tree Gel:

I am in love with it. I have dry-combination skin, the problem is my T-zone that gets oily in summer time and I get these painful zits or pimples or whatever around my nose and particularly on the tip of my nose. This had been a very troublesome thing for me, particularly in Andamans where it is very humid. I never apply any moisturizer on my nose and still every week or so, I would see one pimple emerging. So, I bought myself an oil remover, an astringent basically, and applied it on my nose regularly. This kept me in good shape for long, but it was not the solution. Daily use of astringent was blowing my skin away and hence I wanted something gentle.

Then I saw Jason Tea Tree Gel. It claimed to be natural so that gave me the boost to buy it. Also, I needed something soothing for my daughter who often gets rashes and frequent mosquito bites.  I got this a month back and have been using it since then. It is super duper good and does what it claims.

First, it keeps my oily T-zone in right condition. It controls the oil production without making it dry. Second, when I apply it on day 1, I don’t see the need to apply it for the next 2-3 days. Third, it gives a very soothing sensation so when on sweaty days I apply it on my face, I like that cooling and refreshing feel.

Apart from this, I use this gel on my daughter and it gives her a huge relief as well from mosquito bites. So, that is an added plus. The smell is of tea tree mixed with something herbal. It is very bearable and I am anyway not too fussy about smells. I find it okay. It is a transparent gel that is like any other colorless gel. You need two peanuts size gel for your entire face and going by this, the tube should last for at least 2 months.

It claims to have witch hazel which makes it all the way more useful for skin care and so is its property of not containing any SLS or parabens.

Coming to cons – nothing absolutely.

I love this a lot! A LOT!

I recommend it to everyone as I find it very soothing and beneficial for oil control, but mind you, I have dry-combination skin and I live in Andamans which is very humid, but nevertheless, a tube doesn’t hurt, so it is better to get it.
