Yet again I am here with a review of a product which belongs to one of the very popular brands for body care. Only after coming to UAE, I realised that Johnson’s is much more than just baby products and a fragrance that is only limited to babies. Here, the options are endless and worth trying. I have dry skin and I always keep my eyes wide open for products that have the “24-hour” moisture claim. This body cream was purchased just because of its wide 24-hour moisturization claim.

My Experience with Johnson’s Vita-Rich Revitalising Body Cream:
This body cream comes in a pure white screw top round tub which is not too bulky and can be easily carried around in your handbag. The screw cap prevents the cream from leaking out. It’s a mess-free packaging.
Staying 24*7 in an air-conditioned environment makes the skin prone to dryness very quickly, but there is no better remedy apart from keeping your skin hydrated by providing it with the right amount of moisturization. I generally prefer using body creams over body lotions except for extremely hot days because of their emollient properties. This way, I make sure that my skin is getting the required moisturization even after being under the AC for almost the entire day. I apply the body cream within a few seconds of taking shower to ensure maximum penetration and at night, just 30 minutes before hitting the bed, I wipe my skin with a damp cloth and re-apply the cream so that the moisture levels are maintained.
I picked up this body cream as it contains grapeseed oil which was a new and distinctive ingredient for me as compared to all other regular oil-based products. A google excerpt: “Grapeseed oil is the oil that’s extracted from grape seeds. – It’s non comedogenic , it is known to treat acne, tighten skin, and help diminish dark circles around the eyes, moisturize, reduce scars, restore collagen and fight aging.”
Well, this body cream does have very good properties. A moderate quantity is required to cover the hands and legs. Furthermore, it does not need ample of time to massage the cream into the skin. It seeps into the skin without leaving it greasy – only soft, smooth, velvety and nourished. The skin feels healthy after application and in the long run, this cream definitely improves the skin texture and elasticity.
I never had any issues with my skin, but this cream did make a difference to how my skin feels now. The cream smells just like any other drugstore brand cream with high flowery, powdery notes. I am not too sure how grapeseed oil smells though! The fragrance just lingers on for a little time. The cream is plain white in colour with just adequate consistency which helps it to get absorbed into the skin without much effort.

- A moderate amount of the product provides good moisturization to the skin.
- Skin feels velvety soft after application.
- Enriched with the goodness of grapeseed oil, known for various skin benefits.
Cons of Johnson’s Vita-Rich Revitalising Body Cream:
- A little bit on the expensive side.
- Nothing significant about the fragrance.
Would I Repurchase Johnson’s Vita-Rich Revitalising Body Cream?
I just love every bit of this cream and would stick to it for a long time, especially for my night-time body care routine. It is a bit expensive than other body creams available in the market but as long as it makes my skin feel good, I don’t mind spending!
