My skin has been acting very “moody” from the past one month. Well the blame is on me, as I had not been taking proper care of it. You name one skin problem and I could see it cropping on my face. However, before things went completely out of hand, I offered my “white flag” to my skin in the form of Kate Somerville’s Mega-C Dual Radiance Serum. I had wanted to try this serum and it appeared to be the perfect timing to pick it up. The serum’s description held the key for providing the perfect solution for my skin.
Kate Somerville Mega-C Dual Radiance Serum Packaging:
The serum comes in a transparent hard plastic case containing dual chambers. While one chamber contains 10 percent vitamin C and ferulic acid, the other contains youth-enhancing bio-active omegas 3,6,9 and 7. Both the chambers have individual pump encompassed in steel colored plastic cap. The packaging of the ingredients has been divided to preserve the purity of the ingredients. The vitamin C serum has faint yellow tinge with mild citrusy fragrance. The omega serum is white in color and odorless. Both the serums have a very lightweight texture.
$90 for 1 oz. (30 ml).

My Experience with Kate Somerville Mega-C Dual Radiance Serum:
The product’s description mentions that both the pumps should be simultaneously pressed to dispense the serum. However, I did not find this process convenient. Hence I press one pump at a time and then mix both the serums together for application. The amount I have taken in the swatch is enough to cover my face and neck.
The serum gets immediately absorbed in the skin and does not leave any greasiness behind. I have very dry skin and usually layer my serums with moisturizer later on. However, it was not necessary with this serum. My skin felt very hydrated and moisturized.
As per the product’s claim, I have been noticing that the sunspots on my skin have become lighter. My skin looks very even and healthy. Compared to the dull skin I was having a few weeks back, my skin tone has improved a lot. My skin feels smooth and very firm.
The serum has faint fragrance of vitamin C but fades away very soon. The serum is recommended for nightly use as it contains Vitamin C. Use of sunscreen is mandatory as vitamin C makes skin sun-sensitive. I did not find any skin irritation while using this product. I have been using this serum in my nighttime routine and it has significantly helped to improve my skin’s texture.
Another advantage with the serum is that it does not contain parabens, sulfates and phthalates. I had picked up this serum, as I was desperate to get an apt solution to my skin problems. Using this serum was a good decision and I have been noticing significant skin improvement.
