Kryolan Blusher Refill R21 Review

Hi everyone,

Recently, I picked up a few blush refills from Kryolan and I added a nice pink blush to the collection. I stayed away from pink for a long period of time, thinking it will wash out my dusky complexion. But recently, I realized that the right shade of pink can actually look flattering on any skin tone. Read the review to know about my thoughts on this one.

Kryolan Blusher Refill R21 Review

Price: $7.5 for 2.5g
Product Description:
Blusher is a creamy pressed powder for dry application. The exceptional formulation enhances a gentle application and produces a pleasantly soft feeling on the skin. The micronized pigments offer the possibility of applying this preparation not only with fashionable transparency, but also with vivid color emphasis.

My Experience with Kryolan Blusher Refill R21:

The product comes in a small transparent plastic case. These are designed in a way so that the artists can bring out the pot and place it in a palette. But, the plastic casing allows individual storage as well. It can be closed tightly and you can easily keep it like that. The lid has the Kryolan logo on it.

You can carry it during your trips too, there is no fear of the lid opening up and messing with your other makeup products. I love how the refill is not packed just in a pouch and has this convenient case which allows storing it without buying the separate palette. The shade name and few other details are mentioned on the back cover.

Texture and Pigmentation:
As I have mentioned in the previous reviews, the blush has a very velvety, soft, powdery finish. I absolutely loved its silky texture. It is matte, but not too powdery or dry. It blends beautifully on the skin. It does not leave any chalky feel, never highlights the pores and wrinkles and does not even make the area patchy and oily.

If you can blend the product nicely, this just feels like your skin. It never feels patchy or cakey. The pigmentation is pretty good and buildable, which amazing. You can apply it just once to get a natural flush of color. Or you can layer it to build up the color. It never looks cakey when layered. So you can get the desired intensity without compromising anything.

Kryolan Blusher Refill R21 Pan

It is a baby pink kind of color that will suit everyone. This resembles the first blush in my stash which was from Maybelline in a pink shade. It blends on the skin to give a natural pink color to the cheeks. It will suit every skin tone. But you have to build up the color if your skin is darker. I do not mind this fact at all. I also use in on my eyelids on days when I am not in a mood of detailed eye makeup. Overall, I am happy to have this pink shade in my stash.

Staying Power:
It stays perfectly for really long without being affected by your sweating. It definitely fades a little after really long time, but it never vanishes completely and never looks uneven. It can be easily removed with a good makeup remover.
