After having a great experience with L’Oreal Infaillible Eye shadow in Endless Chocolat, I decided to get it in Flashback Silver as well.

Color:

I have never used a silver eye shadow, but when I saw this color, I was immediately won over. Flashback Silver is a warm-toned silver grey eye shadow with lilac undertones, very fine and minute multi-colored shimmer and gold sheen. It’s a very pretty color. It can be used as an overall lid color or a silver smoky eye make up with silver at the lid and matte black at outer V and crease. This color can also be used as a highlighter in inner corners. It a perfect color for parties.

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Infallible Eyeshadow in Flashback Silver:

The eye shadow comes in a transparent glass tub with a screw lid. It has a black stopper inside the tub to prevent drying and to keep the powder pressed. The packaging is sturdy, durable and travel friendly.

It looks like a usual solid powder but when touched, I was amazed by its velvety and buttery smooth texture. The powdery texture changes to a beautiful cream finish on the lids and blends very easily. It glides on my eyelids effortlessly. The shimmer is very fine. It’s better to use fingers to pack this brush on the lid and then blend it with a brush. Despite being powdery, I experienced just a slight fall out.

It is highly pigmented.  A single swipe and you get a beautiful shimmery pale grey. The pigmentation can always be built up.

This eye shadow lasts for a long time on my oily lids. I have tested it for 6-8 hours without any primer and it stayed on my lids the entire time without any creasing. I am sure it would have stayed longer if I hadn’t removed it.

• The color is very pretty, it has beautiful lilac undertones.
• Will look great as an overall lid color, a highlighter or in smoky eyes.
• Staying power is awesome. It stays on my lids for 6-8 hours without any creasing, without wearing a primer underneath.
• It has velvety smooth texture, blends beautifully and has a slight fall out.
• Will last for a very long time.
• Decent pigmentation.
• Packaging is classy, durable and travel friendly. The stopper prevents drying and keeps the powder in pressed form.

Cons of L’Oreal Paris Infallible Eyeshadow in Flashback Silver:

• Price is on the higher side.

Definitely, L’Oreal Infallible eye shadows are one of the best eye shadows I have ever used. It is a unique silver color because of its gold sheen and lilac undertones. The pigmentation, blendability, texture and staying power, everything is just awesome.
