I am back with yet again a review of an eyeshadow which is one of the most flattering and gorgeous shade in my collection! What can I say I am obsessed with eyeshadows these days 🙂 L’oreal Infallible range eyeshadows have become a rage these days! Decently priced, with some amazing shades, these are a must have for every girl! Today I’ll be reviewing the shade 013 Burning Black for you all.

When I swatched this one few days back on the L’oreal counter, I was simply stunned and confused! Stunned because this is one of the most unique shades I have come across and confused becasue the name says “Burning Black” and this does not seem to be black from any angle!

L’Oréal Paris unveils its latest eye shadow. Ultra-intense colour, up to 24 hour long-lasting hold and velvety soft feel.

Infallible Eyeshadows contain an exceptionally high level of colour pigments, for an intense colour finish. Additional binders (oils), coat and magnify the colour pigments revealing beautiful shimmer and maximized colour.

24 Hour hold(crease-proof and water-proof):
The colour adheres to the eyelid as durably and comfortably as a second skin. The Infallible formula stands up to the average woman’s 11,000 blinks per day. It also resists to rubbing, creasing and does not run into the fine lines around the eyes.

A velvety sensual texture:
With a formulation that lies between the comfort of a cream and the ease of application of a powder, Infallible eyeshadow contains an exceptionally high proportion of binders (oils) for the softest, most velvety eyeshadow. The eyeshadow melts gently from the fingertips to the eyelid on application. The result is a rich and satiny look.

My experience with Loreal Infallible Eyeshadow Burning Black:

The packaging is good and sturdy. It comes in see through tub which makes it easy to identify the shade. The eyeshadow comes with a plastic separator which I think is unique as I have never seen such a packaging. The texture of the eyeshadow is some what between loose powder and pressed. Its finely milled but definitely not firmly pressed together like other eye shadows.  It feels soft and glides on eyelids, though there is little fallout due to its loose texture but nothing major. The pigmentation is to die for! One swipe and you get intense color on your eyes! The staying power is absolutely fantastic, even better than some of my Inglot eyeshadows by which I swear! I have dry eyelids and it stays on me forever until and unless I remove it using a makeup remover! So I would say, it easily will stay on for at least 7 to 8 hours without a primer! What more can one ask!

The shade is a beautiful deep deep burgundy. Its the perfect shade for smokey eyes. Its gorgeous purple-burgundy shade with golden sheen to it. I love to wear it during night time for movies, parties or even if you are clubbing with your friends.
