MAC describes Angel as soft pink. It is a cool toned pink with slight mauve undertones. It is a frost finish lipstick but it actually has no frosty finish to it. It has a soft creamy finish to it. It is a semi opaque lip color and if you build it too much, it may look quite cakey. So either apply it with a lip brush or don;t over so the swipes when applying it directly from the bullet.

I personally am not a fan of Angel. It is too pale and nude for my complexion. I have to do either heavy eye makeup or heavy blush to pull this off. It is not the kind of shade that I’d wear on the go. It is quite a statement color in my opinion and not everyone can pull it off. It could make a nice nude for those with fair complexion and pink undertones. On my NC 35 skin tone it kinda clashes a little and washes out color from my face.
The staying power is around 3 hours on me. It pretty much survives the snacks, drinks and full meal. The only problem I feel is that it settles quite a lot in my fine lines. It does not smudge, smear or bleed.

If you have fair complexion and cool undertones, give this s shot. It is quite a pretty pink. A great one for pairing it with smokey eyes as well. But personally it does not list in my favourite lip colors.

I think you could pull it off. You just need a darker pink lip liner (a warm pink so it balances Angel’s blue undertones) and focus the lipstick more on the center of your lips, not on the outside lines.
Of course, blend the lip liner well so you don’t get the 90’s dark lip liner with light lipstick look.
