Makeup Geek Eyeshadow Early Bird, Sin City, Tan Lines
Early Bird: A gorgeous orangey yellow matte finish eyeshadow.
Sin City: A beautiful golden yellow with shimmery finish.
Tan Lines: A warm matte brown with yellow undertones.

Early Bird

Early Bird is my ultimate favourite eyeshadow. It’s a gorgeous warm orangey yellow color that brightens up any eye makeup look. You can wear this as an overall eyeshadow color or in combination with other warm brown colors for everyday wear. It really brightens up any eye makeup look. It reminds me a lot of Make Up For Ever Mustard Eyeshadow but this is more warm and orangey.

A quick take –
Staying power: 7-8 hours without fading. Used primer underneath.
Pigmentation: 4/5
Texture: I find the texture a bit dry but it is not chalky. It goes on smoothly and is easy to blend.
Fall Out: Minimal fallout.
Probable Dupes: Yellow from Viseart Dark Matte Palette, Makeup Forever Mustard, Tracing the Window from Zoeva Matte Eyeshadow Palette , and MAC Golden Rod.
Skin Tones: All.
Rating: 4/5

Sin City

A gorgeous warm yellow with fine gold shimmers. It’s the kind of eyeshadow that you can pop on the centre of the lid or on the inner corner of the eye and it would brighten up any eye makeup look.

A quick take –
Staying power: 7-8 hours without fading. Used primer underneath.
Pigmentation: 4/5
Texture: Very smooth and non-chalky. Blends easily.
Fall Out: None.
Probable Dupes: Miss Claire 0651, Morphe Starlight , and Yellow from Colorbar Hook Me Up Eyeshadow Palette
Skin Tones: All.
Rating: 4/5

Tan Lines

tan lines

It is a beautiful yellowish mid tone matte brown color. It’s great as a transition color or something that you’d use to blur out the edges. It is also the kind of shade that you can easily incorporate in your smokey eye makeup looks. On its own, this eyeshadow is not much but it’s hard to complete a look without a good transition color such as this.

A quick take –
Staying power: 7-8 hours without fading. Used primer underneath.
Pigmentation: 4.4/5
Texture: Slightly dry texture. But blends in beautifully and makes for an excellent transition shade.
Fall Out: None.
Probable Dupes: A medium brown from Juvia Palace Nubian Eyeshadow Palette, MAC Uninterrupted, and Sandalwood from Huda Beauty Palette.
Skin Tones: Light to medium.
Rating: 4/5
