Maybelline Lip Smooth Color & Care Balm is a tinted lip balm with SPF 16. I have been using it for almost 10- 12 days now and I am completely in love with these lip balms..
There are six shades available in Maybelline Lip Smooth Color & Care Tinted Lip Balm.
What I love about Maybelline Tinted Lip Balm?
- It comes in a tube packaging so it’s easier to use. Plus it’s hygienic.
- There are six variants available in this. you may check out the shades here.
- I like the faint strawberry fragrance it has.
- It stays on my lips for good one hour or so.
- It keeps my lips moisturized. Even on chapped lips days, it helps.
- It has SPF in it.
- Inexpensive.
- They are not waxy.
Mandarin is a deep orange colour. I would like to try the pinks as well in the range but as of now I am just enjoying a different shade.
The Not so Good things about Maybelline Lip Smooth Color & Care Tinted lip Balm:
- I would have preferred that different lip balms had a different flavours. Like I would have preferred an orange flavour for mandarin.
- If you have tried Nivea Starshine lip balms, you would find these less tinted comparatively. However I found these more moisturizing than the Nivea lip balms.
- If you have super cracked lips, I don’t think this would help a lot. This is more of a fun thing but effective to an extent.
I was a little tired yesterday and I guess it shows in my photo. 😉
Anyway this is how Mandarin tinted lip balm looks one me. It’s very sheer so I had to apply 5-6 swipes of this to make it a little visible.

As far as balm is concerned..I like its cute packaging and that it is tinted!!..but not buying it!!!

Jomol..Avon has lip balms for Rs.99, and they are tinted and with SPF like these only.

I bought this in the lightest pink colour (don’t rem’r the exact name) and totally in love with it. :-* :-* :-* .Its so good for wearing daily. But I put it over my regular balm.

I think lotus is more of a healing balm. it has always helped my cracked lips. This one is moisturising but not the kinds that would repair your cracked lips. But it helps get red of regular winter chapped lips.

I like the slight Sparkle in it. It is a good moisturiser for the Lips. So basically I like it.

🙂 i used this one today, the dolly pink color, and u r so right, the nivea supershine has a much brighter tint that this, i ve been using tht for a while now so found ts a little less tinted but i like it nonetheless, nice flavour.
Im addicted to lipbalm and feel very uneasy without one on 🙂 so ts works as a lip stain as well. i usually use balms under my lipgloss tho.
Have u tried the Oriflame tender care lip balm? i liked the creamy texture, it was the only oriflame product tat ive used that i actually liked
