I bought 9 eyeshadows from the brand Morphe. This article is the review of the second shade among those 9. This was my first purchase from this brand and the haul was all about what “Youtube beauty gurus made me buy”. I had heard raving reviews about this brand, about its performance and affordability, so decided to give it a try and went a little over board with the haul and also bought more than 20 makeup brushes which I am still trying and testing and will review one by one.

My Experience with Morphe Single Eyeshadow ES61 Nuts for You:
I wear eyeshadow whenever I wear makeup and that is every day. Even when I am in a rush I quickly brush a brown, matte eyeshadow on my lids to keep them oil and crease-free. This does not enhance my looks in anyway, but if eyeshadows are applied skillfully and with due diligence, it appreciably enhances overall beauty and changes the overall look.
These single eyeshadows by Moprhe come securely packed in a hard cardboard case and all of them arrived safely without any damages. The product is pressed in an aluminum pan and I was glad to see that for such a low price, they provide generous amount of product. The pan is deeper than the usual single eyeshadows I purchase.
The color of the shade “Nuts for You” is a matte, light golden brown shade that can complement all kinds of skin tone. This shade can be used alone or a as a transition shade or in the inner half of the eyelids. Those who wear eye makeup and are experienced with color blending know that a transition shade is required to make the actual color on the eyelid not stand out artificially rather it should appear well blended into the eye socket and blend with the bright shade on the brow bone. When I tried using it as a transition shade, it worked well, but barely showed on my skin tone, so I had to top it with a darker shade of brown. But for lighter or darker skin tone than mine, it should be more obviously visible.
I also used it to open my eyes a little by applying it on the inner half of my eyes. It showed more obviously when I applied it on top of a dark brown eye shadow. This shade is too close to my skin tone and barely shows on my skin color.

It is important to note that not every eye shadow color is meant for us. The shade “Nuts for You” will look pretty on almost all skin tone, but on my skin color, it barley shows. So if I apply it or skip it, it does make a lot of difference for me. It is not a disadvantage, but I will always have to use a darker shade with it to make it apparent on my face.
All the 9 Morphe eyeshadows that I bought are highly pigmented. They can be easily picked up with a dense bristle brush and packed on the eyelids. Another good feature is that they have minimal fall out and give a good wear time (they stay crease free for 6-8 hours).
The product is decently priced and comes in a study, round shaped aluminum pan and most important can be attached in custom eyeshadow palette. I usually stick a magnet behind my single eyeshadow pans and attach them to an aluminum pencil case.

- Comes in a good sized aluminum pan. The product quantity is appreciable for the money paid.
- Golden brown shade with a matte finish.
- Perfect transition color or can be used in inner half of eyelids to make eyes brighter.
- Has good pigmentation and has minimal fall out.
- Stays crease free for 6-8 hours.
- Morphe products are available internationally as well.
Cons of Morphe Single Eyeshadow ES61 Nuts for You:
- For single eyeshadows, it is better to invest in a good empty eyeshadow palette to store them safely or DIY one for ourselves.
- The color of this eyeshadow is too close to my skin tone and barely shows on my face, but this is a con only for me or for people who have the same skin tone as mine

Do I Recommend Morphe Single Eyeshadow ES61 Nuts for You?
It is a beautiful transition color and can be worn alone as well. It is affordable, comes in a study pan and is highly pigmented. I do recommend it to only those who have skin tone lighter or darker than mine, so that this shade is more apparent on their face.
