My Experience with Nivea Q10 + Vitamin C Light Firming Body Lotion:
The lotion comes in a typical Nivea lotion bottle. It is white in color and has a blue tight flip cap with the logo of the company on the top. The cap closes very well and there is no leakage. The product is travel-friendly. The lotion bottle comes unsealed and there is a lot of information on the back of the bottle. There are 2 variants in the size and type. The product comes in 250 ml as well as 400 ml. I picked up the smaller one as I don’t want to commit to big bottles! There are 2 variants in the lotion, one is “Rich” and the other is “Light”. I picked up the Light one because it is summer and rich lotions are not a good choice as they are very thick for the light summers.
The lotion is white and light textured. It feels like a gel crème and is a little creamy. I absolutely love the lightweight formula of the lotion. It hardly feels on the skin and I can slip on the clothes immediately. The smell is very pleasant and fresh. It stays for a very short time and fades away. The product gets absorbed pretty quickly and doesn’t leave any greasy residue. The absorption onto the skin happens very quickly and this works well with even large amount of lotion.
The lotion moisturizes the skin effectively. It covers any dryness and makes the skin very soft and smooth. However, since it is a light variant, the hydration doesn’t last for 48 hours as claimed. If you have very dry skin, it might go on for a maximum of 8 hours post which you need a reapplication. I have dry skin and the lotion hydrates my skin for around 9 hours and in the night I always apply a body oil for intense nourishment. The product is suitable for normal skin type, so I do not want to complain a lot about this property.
The lotion adds nourishment to the skin and also radiance to the skin. The presence of Vitamin C makes a lot of difference. It lightens the skin and you can see the difference in the tone within 10 days. The Q10 in the product is claimed to help rejuvenate the skin. The product does firm the skin, but the results are very less noticeable and if you are looking at it every day, only then you can see a little difference. I do not have any negatives about the product. I absolutely love the Q10 range from Nivea and this one is a winner too.
Overall, it is a good summer lotion but with firming, I always believe good diet and exercise plays a big role than using lotions!
