N.Y.C Color Wheel Mosaic Face Powder – Translucent Highlighter Glow
I picked up the NYC Color Wheel Mosaic Face Powder looking for a good highlighter for my face. When I brought it home, I was disappointed thinking that I bought the wrong one. It was matte and had absolutely no shimmer that a highlighter is supposed to have. So I never used it again and it ended at the back of my makeup drawer with all the products I don’t use anymore. But recently, I was cleaning out my drawer and saw this product again and decided to give this a try but not as a highlighter but as a simple face powder to set my makeup. Surprisingly, it worked very well and I have been using this product ever since.

My Experience with N.Y.C Color Wheel Mosaic Face Powder – Translucent Highlighter Glow:
This product is perfect for those with oily skin. I personally have combination skin and it works perfectly for me. It sets my makeup flawlessly without overpowering my foundation and without adding extra color. It doesn’t dry out my skin either like other setting powder seems to do. I use a powder brush and swirl it in the product getting all the colors on my brush and apply it all over my cheek. I apply it after I apply foundation and concealer. The staying power is not the best so sometimes I have to apply it throughout the day whenever I feel I get a little shiny on my face. Especially my t-zone.
Pros of N.Y.C Color Wheel Mosaic Face Powder – Translucent Highlighter Glow:
-Sets makeup effortlessly
-Convenient packaging
-Soft finish
Cons of N.Y.C Color Wheel Mosaic Face Powder – Translucent Highlighter Glow:
-Can be very sheer if not applied with right brush.
-Staying powder is not so good (Have to re-apply).
