Hello pretty damsels,
Most youtubers have tagged NYX HD concealer as a perfect dupe for NARS concealer because it performs just as good and the end result looks fairly similar, hence I decided to try this product first before buying the NARS concealer (which costs three times more). Read on for more details about this product.
This lightweight covers up imperfections, discolorations and under eye circles without ever looking cakey or obvious. Little wonder, the HD Photogenic Concealer Wand is one of our best-sellers. The concentrated emollient-rich formula goes on like a dream and creates medium to heavy coverage. Use the lavender for sallow skin the green to reduce the appearance of redness and the yellow for under-eye darkness.
My Take on NYX HD Photogenic Concealer Wand:
Initially, when I started dabbling in makeup, I used concealer to hide my dark under eye circles, but with a dedicated skin care routine, I am using concealer more for highlighting rather than just for concealing imperfections. The NYX concealer is perfect for both concealing and highlighting, and even contouring if you pick up a darker shade.
Packaging: This product comes in an average-sized plastic tube with a black cap which holds the sponge applicator. The applicator is in the shape of a doe foot which makes application easy and precise.
Color: I bought two shades of this concealer – fair and medium. The shade “medium” is beige with olive undertones and the shade “fair” is being with pink undertones. The former suits my skin well and also highlights my under eye area, but the latter is bit too light and cool toned for my skin. It just does not look well on my dusky complexion.
NYX Photogenic Concealer is available in 11 different shades, 3 of them are color correcting shades for more pigmented skin or to hide acne scars. I think most of you can find a shade that would complement your skin color.
Application and Blend-ability: The doe-foot applicator makes application easy – I apply it under my eyes in the form of inverted triangles, then blend it with a wet Beauty Blender, and set it with a matte finishing powder – this way, I get to highlight my under eye area which stays crease-free through the day.
Coverage: One does not need a whole lot of product to cover up under eye area or to contour the face; a small quantity is enough for one-time application and further product can be further layered to get more coverage.
Shimmer and Shine: No shimmer or shine, gives a matte finish.
Wear Time: If set with the right finishing powder, this product stays put for the entire duration I wear makeup with minimal creasing and fading.
I love this product and I know why most bloggers consider it as dupe for NARS concealer because it is just as good and performs in a similar manner, but at a much lower price.

Would I Recommend/Repurchase NYX HD Photogenic Concealer Wand?
Yes, because it is so amazing and performs just as well as NARS concealer, which is way more expensive, but the results that you get with both the concealers match. I recommend this product to readers because most of us love less expensive dupes to high-end makeup.
