When I was new to makeup, I would get scared looking at any blush that was bright in color, assuming it would look too clownish. But I later learnt that bright color can look fabulous when used with a light hand and blended well. My first bright color cream blush was NYX Glow(Rs 650). It looks awesome deep pink in the pan.

The pigmentation is incredible and the blush blends really well and gives a natural pink flush. The trick is knowing the right amount of product to use first, once you get the idea, it will look fabulous. This will also act as a good base for powder blushes to make it last longer. I use a concealer brush to pick up some color and then use fingertips to blend on my cheeks. Many people use stippling brushes and Q-tips or even fingers to pick up the blush.
To sum it up-
Pros of NYX Rouge Cream Blush in Glow
-Comparable to MAC blushes
-The formula is creamy
Cons of NYX Rouge Cream Blush in Glow
-Using too much might not look sophisticated.
-Needs a good stippling brush/powder brush or Q-tip if you don’t want to use your hands.
-If you have oily skin, this might make you look too shiny.
-Availability in India.
I have tried half of the shades of NYX cream blushes, they are total 12 shades available. I have now ventured into trying dark shades to test out how they look on my skin. As I stated before, I really like them and have therefore never wanted to try the pricer MAC cream blushes. I think these blushes have great shades for Indian complexions and great for people with normal or dry skin. I have also heard many people with oily skin use these cream blushes and then top it off with powder blush to make the blush last longer and give a good matte effect. Anyone who has not tried cream blushes should give these blushes a shot.
