I haven’t reviewed a blush in a while and thought about talking to you about a cream blush from Clinique. It’s the Clinique Blushwear Cream Stick in 03 Rosy blush. It’s really pretty by itself and lasts for a long time.
21$ at Sephora.
Now, the first thing I have to mention is that as you see in the picture, you don’t get a lot of the product, at least that’s how it looks like. But it’s so pigmented and you really don’t need a lot to apply for a full-faced blush application on your face. It has a matte look to it, but looks like it has a tiny sheen to it when I swatched, but once you blend it out, it will look matte.
These Clinique cream stick blushes are very expensive, well to me, it is expensive. But if you are realistic, you know that this will last you probably a year if you use it every now and then. I have had this for over 7 months now.
The color is so pretty. It looks very natural. It is more on the warm side which means it is going to look nice in the spring time and summer time.
I also feel like cream blushes stay longer on my cheeks compared to powder blushes. In summer, when the weather gets hot and we tend to sweat, the blush will still stay unless you wipe off the sweat on your face, but even then, there is still going to be some color left.
Pros of Clinique Blushwear Cream Stick in Rosy Blush:
- Doesn’t fade away for about 8 hours.
- It will last me forever.
- Very pigmented and a little bit goes a long way.
- Pretty color.
- Packaging is really cute and sturdy.
Cons of Clinique Blushwear Cream Stick in Rosy Blush:
- Extremely expensive.
- Hard to blend out sometimes.
- Not of creamy consistency.
Last Word on Clinique Blushwear Cream Stick in Rosy Blush:
I don’t think I would recommend this to you just because it’s very expensive and is it hard to blend out, but if you want a blush that will last you all night, then this one is a good option. Overall, it is an “okay” blush. I don’t want to give it away yet I am not going to repurchase this again.
