I think getting good at applying perfect types and combinations of eye shadows is an art in itself, which can very well be mastered with practice.Today I bring to you ‘NYX Eye Shadow in Smokey Mountain’.

It comes in a black square shaped eye shadow pot with a transparent lid. The eye shadow in the pot looks like a four compartment upward risen mountain.
Claims:
The company claims “Punch it up. Thanks to our high-fashion, high-intensity pigments, our signature pressed shadows pack a punch of color, yet are incredibly easy to blend.Go edgy or understated effortlessly, and enjoy the luscious, long-wearing color from sunrise to sunset…and beyond.”
My Experience with NYX Smokey Mountain Eye Shadow:
Smokey Mountain is a Military Green color with golden/copper undertones. There are silver particles in the eye shadow, which makes it a bit glittery. It is very soft and smooth to apply. One can see from the swatches that this eye shadow is highly pigmented. You need very little eye shadow as it is very dark. Also, one can build up the intensity of the eye shadow by multiple swipes. It has a smooth finishing.
This eye shadow is easily blendable and can be mixed and matched for creating smokey eyes. It stays on for 5-6 hours without any eye shadow base or primer. I do see some fallout while applying the eye shadow. The eye shadow is not chalky or dry. Also, it does not crease. The color looks very pretty on fair toned girls.
