Dramatic Smokey Eye Using ELF Eyeshadow Quad

Dramatic Smokey Eye Using ELF Eyeshadow Quad

Hi Everyone,

One of you beautiful people asked me to do a dramatic smokey eye. This is my first time creating this smokey look and let me tell you, I LOVE IT! It’s still natural but really dramatic and I love the way it makes my eyes look. Do you agree with me? Anyway, let’s move on to the tutorial.

Dramatic Smokey Eye Using ELF Eyeshadow Quad

(I know I’m fair but I just don’t want a lot of wrinkles later!)

Products Used:

    • ELF Mineral Eyeshadow Primer.
    • Elf Eyeshadow Squad Butternut.
    • NYX Jumbo Pencil in Black Bean.
    • Eyeshadow I created.
    • Lancôme Mascara Base.
    • L’Oreal Liquid Eyeliner in Black Noir.
    • Clinique Mascara.
    • Elf Gotta Glow Blush.

  • Elf Contouring Blush and Bronzer Palette.
  • Wet’n’Wild Lipstick in 901B.
  • Loreal 6H Glam Shine Lipgloss in 102 Always Pink.
  • NYX eye pencil in Black.

Step 1 and 2:

step 1 and 2

Like always, I primed my eyelids to prevent my eyeshadows from creasing. Then, I took my Jumbo Pencil and applied a thin layer on my eyelids staying underneath my crease. I blended it out with a brush.

Step 2

Step 3:

step 3

With a fluffy eyeshadow brush, I picked up the 3rd color in the ELF Squad Palette (the darkest color) and pat it on my eyelid over the black base. Don’t worry about the harsh line, I will blend it out in the next step.

Step 4:

With a blending brush, I picked up the last color in the palette (the bronze one) and blended out the harsh line.

Step 5:

Step 5

I applied the lightest shade in this palette, the first shadow, and put it under my eyebrow as a highlight.

Step 6:

With a pencil brush, I took the eyeshadow I made myself and put slightly on the inner corner of my eye.

Step 7:

eyes

I grabbed my eyeliner and drew a thin line on my upper eyelash line and created a winged liner.

Step 8:

I finished the look by applying my mascara base, mascara and eye pencil.

Step 8

Clinique eyeliner

Step 9:

I contoured my forehead because it’s kind of big and used the bronzer in the ELF palette as my blush. I have to be careful because it’s quite pigmented.

Step 10:

I took a duo fiber brush and put some shimmer above my cheekbones using the ELF Blush Gotta Glow. I also applied some over the bridge of my nose.

Step 11:

I’m almost done. I grabbed my Wet’n’Wild lipstick and applied it on my lips. It’s really matte looking and this lipstick I feel cannot be worn without a lip gloss. Over this lipstick, I put a thin layer of the L’Oreal 6h Lip Gloss.

I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial, have a great day or night,

XOXO
