Office Wear Eye Makeup Tutorial

Office Wear Eye Makeup Tutorial

Hi Pretty Ones,

Today, I am doing an eye make up tutorial for you all which can be easily pulled off by everyone.  Its perfect for regular office goers and students like me who do not want too much drama for their eyes every morning.

It takes about 5 minutes to do this and once you get into the habit, you can do it in 3 minutes only! This is also useful for girls with small eyes as well as those with larger ones. All you will need for this is a basic dark brown eye pencil, a brown eyeshadow, a dark grey eyeshadow, a lighter shade for highlighting brow bone and eyebrow powder (you can skip this and use the dark grey or brown eye shadow too). The products I have used are:

Eye Makeup 1

1. Lakme perfect radiance skin lightening compact.
2. VOV eyebrow powder set
3. A local brand’s eye shadow palette for the highlighter( you can use any light eye shadow for this)
4. VOV eye and lip pencil in dark brown.
5. Lakme lash artist mascara.
6. Vega eye lash curler.
7. Vega eye shadow brush.

So, here we go!

This is how my eyes look without makeup 😛

Eye Makeup 2

1. Prime your eyes if you want to, I just dabbed some compact powder. Next, fill in your eyebrows. I used the little angular brush provided with the eye brow powder set.

Prime Eyeshadow

Remember this step will make a lot of difference since the eye makeup we are doing is very subtle, we need properly groomed eye brows for the required definition. I used VOV eyebrow powder set for this. I mix up both the shades to get my perfect shade.

2.Take some light shade of eye shadow and sweep it below your brow bone. This will make your eyebrows more prominent.  Here, I have used the orange one over which the eye shadow brush is kept. It compliments my warm skin tone.

Brown

After this, shade your entire eyelid with your favorite matte brown eyeshadow. I cheated on this step and used the brown eyebrow powder instead 😛 (refer to picture above)

For your crease, blend a grey shade to add more depth to your eyes. For evenings, you can swap it for black eyeshadow.

Grab your eye-pencil next and draw a thick line on your upper lash line. Use short feathery strokes, and then join it.

Brush

Use the same pencil on the lower lash line, but only on the outer half. Leaving the inner corner empty will ensure your eyes look “awakened” all day!

6

Next, use your ring finger to smudge the eyeliner on the inner half of your upper lash line. Use a pencil brush if you are not comfortable using your finger.

Eyeshadow

Dab some highlighter or light colored eyeshadow in the inner half of the lower lash line. I have used the same shadow that I used for the brow bone. Curl your lashes, use mascara and you are done! This is the final look. Nothing too stark, yet defined eyes for day time!

Use your favorite nude lipstick, or something like Elle 18 color pop lipstick in “Cinnamon Bun,” which I reviewed a few days back and you are all set to rock your office! 😉
