Outfit of the Day: Blue Cut-Out Shoulder Dress

First and foremost, I want to sincerely thank everyone for your compliments on my last OOTD. My heart is jumping with joy hearing your words of appreciation.
Today, let me share with you another outfit I wore on a late celebration of my mom and dad’s wedding anniversary. It’s better late than never, right? Now, is the only time when all their kids were able to take a leave from work for this simple celebration of love. In my previous OOTD, I wore a venus cut black and red dress, I have 100% comfort of wearing it, that is why I have worn that dress about a dozen times already in 6 months. Well, opposite to that, the blue dress I am sporting in my OOTD today is something that I have owned for about half a year already and this is the first time I am wearing it! It’s a type of dress I am not used to wearing, but anyway, I got this as a gift from my sister and she really wants to see me wear this for the longest time. Well this is it, now is the time.
This dress from Forever 21 is a simple plain blue dress and the cut out on shoulder area has made it unique. It is made with cotton and stretch material which I find to be cool and comfy to wear.
I wore a statement white and gold necklace to add glam to the simple dress and decided not to wear any earrings or bracelets. I just paired the dress and necklace with white pointed, textured flats and black clutch.
For my makeup, I used Maxfactor Panstik as spot concealer, Maybelline BB Silk Cake Powder on face, Clinique Powder Blush in Fig on cheeks, 4U2 Eyebrow Pencil, 4U2 Gel Liner on my eyes, Dior Show Mascara on my eyelashes and NYX SLMC in Amsterdam plus Nichido Multiple Stick in Plum Brulee to achieve light reddish peach color on lips.
