Outfit of the Day: Red Saree and Silver Jewellery
Hey Lovely Ones!
Today is the last day of Durga puja and tomorrow we bid farewell to maa durga. ย So, today we enjoyed as much as possible in our colonyโs puja pandal. ย I wore a fiery red silk saree which belongs to my mother. One of my maternal aunts had gifted it to her almost 25 years back!! I love the color but just to tone it down a bit, I asked my mother to make me a dark blue blouse with silver piping and as soon as I reached back from hostel, I painted a thick silver border on the sleeves with fabric paint ๐
On my neck, I wore a very inexpensive neck piece made out of thread and silver colored pendant.
My ears had silver and blue dangling earrings and on my right hand, I wore silver bangles and a silver and blue finger ring.
I had bought only these things to go with the saree, but I had nothing on my mind for my right hand. So, when I spotted an old wooden bangle lying around, I just painted it dark blue and silver ๐
Make up was just thick black eyeliner and nude gloss. I didnโt use blush (as the color of the saree is too bright), just dabbed some highlighter, and of course, red bindi!
