Outfit of the Day: Turquoise Blue Silk Saree and Silver Jewellery
Hi Girls!
Thanks a lot for the lovely comments on my last OOTDs. Today, I am back with another look which I did on Durga Ashtami puja in the evening. This time, I concentrated more on statement jewellery and as usual, I paired a black handloom woven blouse with a turquoise blue silk saree.
On my ear, I had a huge silver earring with a round turquoise blue gem in the middle.
I generally do not wear anything on my neck if I wear heavy earrings, but this time since the saree does not have any sequins or work on it, I paired a very huge and chunky silver black neckpiece with the earring.
For my hands, I wore oxidized silver bangles.
Coming to the make up, I did smoky eyes with grey and black all over the lid and a touch of midnight blue at the inner corner of the lower lash line. A combo of Elle 18 lipstick in Roasty Red and Streetwear creamy brown lipstick on lips, a swipe of Lakme Blush Trio and of course, my “mandatory” red bindi. I feel my saree look remains incomplete without a red bindi!
My hair today “decided” by itself that it wants to be curly! 😛 I don’t know how it got this magical quality, sometimes its poker straight and sometimes its wavy, all by itself! My mom does not like the idea of applying heat on hair, so I don’t even own a hair drier!
This time, I had to be barefoot for the puja, so no shoe pic 🙂
