My Experience with Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Concentrated Cream:
Sometimes, we buy something for a specific use and end up using it for something else, this is exactly what happened with this product. The cream comes in a small travel-friendly white tube, with a flip cap which shuts properly. It is also available in a bigger jar size. It is basically a thick concentrated cream, just like a body butter which can be used as a body moisturizer or for extremely dry skin like on elbows, knees, etc. I already had a body lotion, but was looking out for an intensive moisturizer, that would deeply nourish skin, and this one fulfills all the needs. It looks and feels just like a body butter, and has a very thick and emollient consistency, it is not very creamy, but not at all greasy as well.
The cream is off white colored, smells just like chocolate and smells absolutely delicious; I always have to control myself from eating it and a majority of the people will like the fragrance, but its slightly on the stronger side, so some may not like it.
It will fulfill the needs of extremely dry winter skin; it does slightly heal the skin making it very soft. It has the goodness of cocoa butter, the benefits of which we all are aware of. It definitely is true to a majority of its claims, although it did nothing for scars and marks, but that was not the purpose I got it for. Surprisingly, even after being so thick, its not at all greasy, gets absorbed within seconds. It might feel a little greasy if you end up applying more, but it gets absorbed within minutes, and makes my skin so smooth and moisturized. It would definitely be heavy for summers, but for winters, it is perfect. I mostly use it as an all over moisturizer during winters, and a little quantity is required for each use. I have been using it from past 10 days and have still some left, but because the tube is opaque, one cannot exactly tell how much is left.
I do like it a lot, but somehow, I always come to body lotions, from butters, but that is just a personal preference. But only recently I discovered that it works as a great hand cream. In fact, this is one of the best hand creams I have used so far, trust me, it instantly deeply moisturizes them, without feeling greasy and makes them so silky smooth, they have never been so soft. I am going to repurchase the tube version itself especially to use it as a hand cream. Even during summers, this would be a great night-time hand cream. Now since Palmer’s products are easily available in India as well, availability is not a problem. Also, it is free from parabens and not tested on animals.
Overall, if you want something deeply moisturizing, then this is it and also if you are looking for a great non-greasy moisturizing hand cream, then do give it a try; you won’t be disappointed at all.

Do I Recommend Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Concentrated Cream?
I have found the perfect hand cream for winters I was looking for. It also works great as a body butter for dry skin as well, it is just that I prefer body lotions more, but I am going to repurchase this as a hand cream until I find something better.
