Today, I will be reviewing Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Shadow Stick in the shade “Witness White.” I have heard great reviews about “Bad Bronze” stick and I always wanted to try more. So, when I was ordering it online, I thought of purchasing this shade too, yes it was an impulse buy! I don’t have a single eyeliner in white, so I added this pencil in my cart without any second thought. Let’s move to the review.

My Experience with Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Shadow Stick – Witness White:

Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Shadow Stick comes in a black crayon stick which has a plastic transparent cap on top. Since the cap is transparent, you can see the shade properly. The packaging is compact, cute and travel friendly. I usually carry it in my handbag and I have never faced any issue.

I will be reviewing the shade “Witness White,” which is a pure milky white color as the name describes. I was expecting it to be completely matte, but the shade has a pearly finish and fine shimmers in it. The color pay off is amazing and one swipe gives you intense white shade. You can use it as an eyeliner or eyeshadow or as an eyeshadow base. Since the shade has shimmer in it, one can also use it as a highlighter for brow bone, Cupid’s bow and inner corner. Overall, it’s a multi-purpose shade.

The texture is amazing and I actually mean it. It glides like butter without tugging or pulling. It’s so creamy and soft that it blends effortlessly and gives you natural look. Since the texture is creamy, you have to be extra careful while using it. If used with slight pressure, the tip can break off. You can smudge it within five minutes of application to use as an eyeshadow primer. After setting, it becomes smudge proof and stays intact. It’s also waterproof so you can wear it without worrying about smudging or fading. Once applied, it stays for 7-8 hours easily. It claims to last for 24 hours, but I have only tried it for 7-8 hours and it stayed on my lids with very slight fading. I am quite impressed with the staying power. It comes off easily with an eye makeup remover without much effort.

I have also tried using it on my waterline and it gives quite good pigmentation in a single swipe. I have not experienced any irritation or allergy while using it. It’s a dermatologically tested product, so people with sensitive eyes can wear it.
