Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hour Eyeshadow – Bad To The Bronze Review

Dear Beauties,

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Mine was a very hectic and a sad one since my dearest hubby went on an overseas trip 🙁 but on the happier note, I have threatened him to get me some goodies from his trip 😀 Also, as our women hormones fluctuate when we shop, when we are sad and depressed, so I did the same 🙂 Got some goodies from Maybelline, Colorbar, L’Oreal, etc. Review will come up soon once I have examined them closely 😀

Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hour Eyeshadow Bad To The Bronze Review

So, finally Maybelline Color Tattoos have hit the town! The blogosphere is buzzing with them! I got two of them and will be reviewing “Bad To The Bronze” for you all today!

Product Description:

24 hr intensity. Tattoo tenacity. Dare to wear our longest-lasting shadow.  Our ink technology creates super-saturated color.  Cream gel smoothes on for vibrant color that does not fade.  In 8 shades.

Bad To The Bronze

Expert Tip:

For a High impact look – Illuminate. With fingertips, sweep all over eye from inner corner and work outwards. For added drama, darken as desired.

Maybelline Color Tattoos have been launched in India in 8 shades, all of which are currently not available everywhere. They come in small, glass tubs, which reminds me a lot of the MAC paint pots. These are the drugstore version of the MAC paint pots and I must say they are pretty close! Packaging is neat and sturdy. The shade of the eyeshadow is visible from the bottom of the tub, so that makes it easier to find it in your vanity.  The Maybelline Color Tattoos come along with a free brush. Nothing extraordinary about the brush, but it does a decent job of applying the eyeshadow. I prefer to use my fingers as it helps to blend the eyeshadow evenly.

Bad To The Bronze

The shade “Bad To The Bronze” is a beautiful bronze + brown shade and is perfect for every day wear! I think medium to dusky girls will simply rock this eyeshadow! The texture is soft and creamy and it simply glides on eyelids.

Bad To The Bronze

The pigmentation is fantastic and can be easily built up to get more intensity. The only problem is that these are very fast drying, so you need to really be quick in blending the eyeshadow because once it sets, it stays on for good! It does not budge or transfer at all. It is absolutely smudge proof! It stays on my dry eyelids easily for 6 to 7 hours after which it does fade a little bit.

Bad To The Bronze

Also, another thing I have noticed since I have very dry eyelids is that though it does not crease, it does make the eyelids appear a bit dry which I don’t like.

Bad To The Bronze

Overall, a fantastic eyeshadow and absolutely a must try!

    Good morning everyone :))

  3. Oh I have used a diff shade in the color tattoo shadows and must say that I am totally in love with them. They have a nice selection of shades as well…didn’t know they are available now, will surely pick up a few. It looks gorgeous on you.

        1. Cool Rama, I am palnning to hit lifestyle at EA. I have been to shopper stop at Ramee Mall its awesome. How is the one at shyamala grdens ? Have you been there ?

          1. ohh the one in shyamala gardens is comparatively small than the one at ramee mall..SS at Ramee mall is huge.. 🙂
shyamala gardens is close to wer is stay and so i visit der often..pretty good 🙂

            1. I am put up at mambalam! But i know valsarvakam quite well, all my cousins are put up there! And the ss at ramee mall i know it is huge! Personally i luv ramee mall because of the SS, Kryolan store and MAC store! All in one place! But this time I am eyeing Inglot so heading for EA!

  5. Hi Parita great daily wear eye shadows you review. Totally confused between buying these or inglot refills! have to decide before friday as I have planned mega shopping in the week end! Please help!
As rama says the Navaratiri is round the corner and all Kolu preparations have started in Chennai and all of us know no preparation is complete without shopping correct ???????

    1. hey sandhya..inglot has a huge shade range so definitely pick up few especially 407 is fantastic! shades from inglot will depend upon your need for colors like green, blue, teal, purple etc whereas maybelline eye tattoos have limited shade range..for neutral shade this is good..maybelline eye tattoos also has grey, purple, teal and burgundy pink color

      1. Sure Partia will take your word for it! Actually not much of colour show up on my lids as they are heavily pigmented. So will probably go for dark shades only! Will share haul pictures for sure!

        1. sandhya even i have quite pigmented eyelids..try using a eyeshadow base or concealer which will hide the darkness..for example try nyx eyeshadow base in skin tone or kryolan color corrector which i have reviewed here..its the best color corrector for check out

  6. Thanks Pari, was waiting for You or Neha to review these.. I just follow you both blindly.. learnt alot.. Would now pick these up for sure..
