Sephora Charcoal Nose Strip Review

Price: $3 for 1 strip
Product Description:
What it is – An effective, anti-blackhead nose strip that deeply cleanses skin and unclogs pores, removing blackheads, impurities, and excess oil.

What it is formulated to do – These nose strips are enriched with charcoal extract, which is known for its incredible powers of absorption and cleaning. Its porous surface draws out impurities and pollutants like a magnet, making it a veritable detox star. Charcoal’s incredible powers of absorption (up to 200 times its own weight) and purifying, deep cleansing, and anti-pollutant properties make these wipes effective at removing blackheads and unclogging pores. In as little as 15 minutes, skin is left clean, clear, and more radiant. The strips come in practical, single-use packaging that you can take anywhere.

Ingredients:
-Charcoal Extract: Provides absorption and deep cleansing properties due to its porous surface.
-Vitamin E Derivative: Provides antioxidant benefits.

My Experience with Sephora Charcoal Nose Strip:

Sephora Charcoal Nose Strip Review Sachet

The nose strip comes in a sachet-like package. There is all the information needed on the back of the sachet. The sachet is very sleek and thin, and this makes it easier to take it on a trip and this product is travel-friendly. There is one nose strip in the sachet. The strip is shaped very nicely and this makes it easier to apply on the nose and covers the corners of the nose too. The nose strip is black in color and doesn’t have any odor.

The nose strip has to be applied on the wet nose and leave it on for 15-20 minutes, and then, has to be stripped off. The nose strip is not very sticky and I wish it had a little more adhesive so that it could stick effectively. The nose strip covers the corners of the nose too.

It provides a cooling sensation when applied. Once dried, I wet it again and strip it off. It does leave some residue which has to be washed off. The nose strip does pull out some whiteheads and removes the dry skin effectively. However, it showed 0 results in removing the blackheads. The nose strip does remove the dirt and oil from within and I could clearly see tiny particles that were being pulled out from my nose, the particles which were hardly visible when seen. So, the strip does clean the pores and clears all the dirt and grime.

It adds a softness, gives a refreshed feeling and unclogs the pores. The strip also dries the skin and a good moisturizer is needed. The strip does pull the skin, and thus, shouldn’t be used very often or else it can damage the skin. The nose strip doesn’t cause any redness or irritate the skin and is also suitable for sensitive skin. The product is just a cleansing strip and doesn’t help in pulling out the stubborn blackheads. Summing up:

Pros of Sephora Charcoal Nose Strip:

  • Travel friendly
  • Removes whiteheads, dirt, and oil
  • Doesn’t cause any redness and suitable for sensitive skin
  • Doesn’t harshly rip off and is very delicate
  • Cleanses the pores from within
  • Cost effective
  • Provides a gentle cooling effect
  • Makes skin soft and smooth

Cons of Sephora Charcoal Nose Strip:

  • The adhesive is not strong enough
  • Doesn’t remove the blackheads
  • Dries the skin, and thus, the skin has to be moisturized

IMBB Rating:
3.5/5
Would I Recommend/Repurchase Sephora Charcoal Nose Strip?
If you want to give it a try for removing the dirt, then you can purchase it, but I wouldn’t repurchase it as it is just a cleansing strip.
