My Experience with Sephora Collection Rouge Gel Lip Liner – 12 The Red:
The first good thing about this lip liner is, despite being soft and gel based lip liner, this did not crumble or break. Secondly, this also retracts back into the pencil body. Thirdly, it is a lovely glossy red colour. This comes in a very thick, twist up lip liner pencil. This color is a nice warm red but, I am not happy with the intensity of the color. This feels gel-like and hence, feels slightly sheer, unlike another matte red lip liner. If you fill your lips with it, it settles into a glossy finish.
The saddest part about this lip liner is, it isn’t a transfer-proof lip liner. So, I consider this as a slim lipstick. I don’t think this fulfils my needs of a red lip liner as well as a matte lip liner. The pencil is smooth and buttery and if you have dry lips, you will love it. Also, if you are a lip balm fan, this works great!
