How was your Shivratri festival? I spent mine in the office, I kept the fast, but did not go to temple, rather I would say I was  not able to go.  Coming to today’s review, I am going to review a lip gloss for you guys today.  I have always been a matte lipstick lover, but recently, I am liking glossy lips. I have very few lip glosses with me, as I always prefer non-sticky lips.  In my US office, I hardly see girls wearing bold lips; they mostly sport natural glossy lips.  So, I was feeling odd wearing my matte lipsticks and so bought a new lip gloss from Sephora, as I have only one lip gloss with me here.

My Experience with Sephora Glossy Gloss – Red Jelly:

In India, we have Sephora only in Delhi.  Being a Bangalorean, I never got a chance to try Sephora products.  This glossy gloss in Red Jelly is a non-shimmer gloss which looks red in the tube but pale pink on my lips which I love for everyday use. This muted colour gives a healthy look to my lips. It is shimmer free which I love.  I hate too much shiny lip glosses and this one is a perfect balance of colour and shine for everyday natural look. It looks good even on my slightly pigmented lips and compliments my fair yellow undertone skin well. I feel it will also flatter cool skin tones.

This lip gloss feels very light on the lips, and it is almost non sticky which again I love.  It has a very sweet melon scent to it and tastes very sweet too. It has a good staying power of 4-5 hours with no meals in between and easily survives light snacking and drinks.  It comes in a transparent plastic tube with a slant nozzle, which makes the application of gloss super easy.  I can even apply it without looking into the mirror.  Overall, I love to use this lightweight, natural looking lip gloss.  I highly recommend this to everyone who likes non-shimmery glosses or for women who are looking for a gloss that can be used every day.
