Sleek Eyebrow Pencil in Black Review
Hello everyone,
I have been digging in my stash to discover the forgotten stuff to review. This one was among those ignored products. This brow pencil is black, yes black; who purchases a black one, but I did because I hadn’t discovered IMBB then and being a newbie, I was struggling on my own in the makeup fantasy world. For folk’s info, Sleek’s Eyebrow Pencil is available in two shades – black and brown. The review of brown shade is already on IMBB. Let’s move on to the review.

My Take on Sleek Eyebrow Pencil in Black:
All in all black, this pretty wooden pencil is easily sharpen-able but the soft lead causes a lot of product wastage. Due to the creamy and very soft texture, the pencil is a great pain to sharpen and always prone to breakage. The cap fits in tightly making it safe to carry in clutch and purse. The product is in reality really soft and creamy, which makes it easy to use without any tug or pull. It glides easily on hairy eyebrows. Two to three strokes cover the desired area. I have actually given it to my mother to fill in gaps and cover greys in her eyebrows, so further review shall be carried out with reference to her experience about the product.
As I said, 2-3 strokes cover the grey really well and the color stays put in place without smudging or budging. That means no messing around and no tacky situation with brows. It is nearly waterproof and sweat proof until you rub it wet. However, when your fingers touch the eyebrows, slightly some color transfers to your skin, but it doesn’t wipe off from the eyebrows. The staying power is amazing; it stays on brows for hours and hours without any trouble until you remove it with a makeup remover or cleanse.
This is an awesome choice till you don’t overdo because the color is black. In this case, you can blend it in with a tapered brush or set with a powder and finish the look with brow wax. It lasts all day long. Overall, it is a great product to try for makeup beginners and those who collect all brand makeup. I wish it came with a brow brush too.

IMBB Rating:
I am deducting one mark for parabens – 3.75/5
Do I Recommend Sleek Eyebrow Pencil in Black?
If you are looking for an eyebrow pencil, this is a nice option which is pocket friendly. So beginners may go ahead with this without any doubt. Personally, I am looking forward to brow kits rather than pencils, so I will not repurchase. Also, I shall prefer my pencil to be brown with a brush included with the cap.

Nicely reviewed:) ain’t is too dark for eyebrows or it looks natural?
for youngsters, brown will be more appropriate and it also depends on the color of your hairs. i have naturally dark brown hair so this looks un-natural to me and mom has black so this looks fine…. 🙂 Black suits mature women more…
