Step-by-Step Hair Tutorial – 5 Minutes Easy Braid Wrapped Ponytail

Monsoon is here, in my city, and I am fully enjoying this beautiful season, but climate looks so gloomy on a rainy day, and to contrast with that dull weather we need to put on some bright look. Usually, during our busy schedules, we often skip making our hair and go for a casual hairstyle, but I found a cute and easy hairstyle that can totally change a boring look to a beautiful style. Today, I am going share an easy ponytail hairstyle but in a different, pretty way. It is a braid wrapped ponytail which goes with any look, from daily look to party look, and it takes actually 5 minutes to do the hairstyle. I love this easy hairstyle. Now, let’s get into the step-by-step tutorial.

Step 1:

First, you need to brush your hair well and detangle all the knots properly.

Step 2:

Next, you need to decide one side where you want to create the ponytail, and then, you need to take all the hair on that side. I prefer the right side. After that, divide your hair into two sections, one section must be quite thin and take the rest of the hair into the other section.

Step 3:

Now, clip up the thick section, and make a regular 3-strand braid with the thin section and secure the end with a black elastic.

Step 4:

Next, tug the edges of the braid to make it look fuller but do this carefully so that your layers don’t come out.

Step 5:

Now, open the clipped hair and make a ponytail with that section, and again secure it with black elastic.

Step 6:

Next, to make this simple ponytail cute, wrap that braid around the ponytail until you reach the end. Wrap it clock wise and maintain a certain distance between each wrap. Once you are done, then secure the end with elastic.

Step 7:

If you want a little fuller finish, then you can tug your ponytail a little or can keep it normally.

Step 8:

Here, I added some pretty hair pins to make it more beautiful. To fix everything, you can spray some hair setting spray.

Here is my final look and it took only 5 minutes. If you are a college going girl, then you can definitely try it to convert your regular look into a beautiful new style. I love such pretty hairstyles, which are easy to create and goes perfectly with a day look. Hope you like it!
