So, I went to watch Wolverine this Sunday which was “Friendship Day” with my friends. The movie was awesome!! Logan got his original claws back and in the end, they generated interest for the next part. I munched on nachos like crazy 😛  Anyway, so the other day, I was raiding the mall and I saw SALE on TBS!! I admit I went a little crazy and bought stuff like OMG! I will be reviewing the lip balm from their “Sparkling Ginger” range.

Product Description:

This shimmering, moisturising lip balm is perfect for mistletoe moments. It has ginger extract for a delicious zingy flavour and comes in a limited-edition dome.

My Experience with The Body Shop Ginger Sparkle Lip Balm:

This is one of the three limited edition lip balms they came up with during Christmas.  The Body Shop in my area had only this one. Now, I picked up this one only because of its shape. I have always wanted to try out EOS lip balm, but somehow I never got it.  This attracted me because of its shape and also because it was kept in the limited edition counter 😛

This has a mushroom like shape, with a dome-shaped top. This is really convenient and a fun way to apply your lip balm.

The product has very light golden shimmer in it. It is slightly visible in the picture. The consistency is not too waxy. It slides really easily onto your lips and gives an extremely mild peachy tone. The shimmer on the lips is hardly noticeable, but it does make the lips a little prominent.

Now, I usually put this on and I can say the moisturization lasts for 3-4 hours. It doesn’t feel greasy or anything on the lips. I simply love how it smells. The smell is not really a strong ginger smell. It smells spicy-zesty and a little sweet.
