The Face Shop launched its Dr. Belmeur range a few months ago, and finally it’s available in India too. There are mainly two different types of products under this range: daily repair and clarifying. According to the brand, daily repair type is for dry and sensitive skin and clarifying is for oily and blemish prone skin. Today, I am going to review The Face Shop Dr. Belmeur Daily Repair Ato Salt Cream, which comes under daily repair category.

My Experience with The Face Shop Dr. Belmeur Daily Repair Ato Salt Cream:
I have combination skin, which becomes extreme during the monsoon season. Currently, I am seeing a mix of heavy rains and equally competent sun, which plays a havoc on my face. I have been using the products meant for oily skin for the past few months. But, my skin has become extremely dry other than the areas around visible pores. So, I wanted to change my regimen to something more moisturizing and that’s how I came across this product.
This product comes in a tube packaging. I like tube packaging because it is sanitary in a way and easy to use too. The cap closes tightly, so no chances of any damage during travels. On the packaging itself, you could see a hand pointing towards the daily repair category.
On squeezing, you could control the amount of product you want. The product is white in colour and does not have much odour. The thing I like most is the texture of the product but it cannot be called creamy. The texture is more like a cake batter, just before baking. It seems like a mix between a cream and a mousse. It spreads evenly on the skin with ease.
After applying, the product doesn’t make my skin oily. Even during winters, cream-based products made my skin oily. But this cream just moisturizes my skin and makes it super smooth. My skin feels so smooth that I cannot stop touching it. After 2 to 3 days of usage, the dry areas changed to normal. I skipped using this for two days, but even then the transformed skin persisted.
So, I generally use this nowadays whenever my skin feels dry and needs extra care. It rejuvenates the dry patches and moisturizes the skin. I use this after a toner and serum in place of a moisturizer. It does not provide any extra brightening or toning effects on the skin. It just repairs the skin whenever necessary, as the name suggests.
