Today I’ll be reviewing another skin care product from The Face Shop. I love their products and had my eyes on this one for a long time. Every time I planned to buy this, it was out of stock. And then one day I finally managed to get my hands on this one. Let’s see how this ‘The Therapy First Serum’ fared for me.

Product Description:
This first-step anti-aging serum contains a blend of French Sea Water and natural Essential Oils.
• This first-step anti-aging serum has many benefits, including intense hydration, gentle exfoliation as well as anti-aging and boosting effects.
• Containing a blend of Essential Oils, this first-step serum shimmers like crystal particles.
• Instead of being rapidly mixed, the ingredients are slowly added by hand and stabilized into natural polymers to help better deliver the nourishing ingredients.
• THE THERAPY Green Tea Cotton Pads (NOT FOR INDIVIDUAL SALE) – 30 pad
• Soft 100% cotton pads with fine jade particles that act as a mild exfoliant leave skin clean and refined.
Application:
After cleansing, pump once or twice and apply to face, massaging into skin from the center of the face outwards. For extra benefits, use with The Therapy Green Tea Cotton Pads. After cleansing your face, moisten a The Therapy Green Tea Cotton Pad with serum. Using the side coated with green tea powder, gently sweep over face from the center outward.
My Experience with The Face Shop The Therapy First Serum:
Packaging:
This serum comes in a glass bottle which looks very classy. It has the name of the brand and description of the product printed on it. Also, there is a measurement scale printed on the bottle, indicating the amount of product left. The serum comes with green tea cotton pads. Both – the serum and the cotton pads – come in a big cardboard packaging. The bottle has a push nozzle which releases the serum.
Fragrance and Texture:
The serum smells very refreshing and feels as if a subtle floral mist has been sprayed onto the face. It’s very runny in consistency and has no specific color to it.
Green Tea Cotton Pads:
This serum comes with cotton pads that are infused with green tea. This is something quite unique and I have never seen such a product before. It’s advisable to drop the serum onto these pads and use over the face.
How I Use It:
I usually wash my face and then use the toner after which I apply this as the first step of my skin care regime. I have applied the serum with the green tea cotton pads as well as directly by rubbing in between my hands and pushing it on my face. I sometimes skip the toner part and apply it directly as well.
How It Fared for Me:
I am in my mid-20s and I was in search of a good anti-ageing product for my skin type, because the earlier the better. This serum is very subtle for the skin and it hydrates your skin well without making it too oily or greasy. This is why I prefer to use it at night before using my moisturiser. This is really good and helps in making my skin soft from within. I like this product very much. It’s become a staple in my skin care regimen now.
