Vichy Purete Thermale Demaquillant Integral One Step Cleanser

Vichy Purete Thermale Demaquillant Integral One Step Cleanser  Review

I got Vichy Purete Thermale Demaquillant Integral One Step Cleanser as sample for the subscription of a magazine. : yahoo I also got other products of vichy’s. I will review them one by one.

VICHY PURETE THERMALE DEMAQUILLANT INTEGRAL ONE STEP CLEANSERThis is a sample pack

This is a one-step cleanser. That means cleansing & toning in one. This can also be used for removing eye makeup. : yahoo Since I got just a sample it was 30 ml tube. In the markets it is available as 200 ml tube. It cost around Rs.890. It is bit on the pricier side. 🙁 But then one doesn’t need to spend extra for eye makeup cleanser & a separate toner. So it pretty much works out at the same price. 🙂
ABOUT THE VPTD (That’s what I named this because the name is way too long 🙂 ):

M Experience about Vichy Purete Thermale Demaquillant Integral One Step Cleanser
This cleanser is milky white in color with a thin consistency as compared to other cleansers & it has a mild but very pleasant fragrance. It’s more like the cataphil face wash. It is non-greasy & does not feel heavy on the skin. It does not dry out the skin nor does it make it oily (only if washed with water later). Just perfect for all skin types as claimed by vichy. 🙂 It does make the skin very soft after use, but nothing like extra ordinarily soft. This cleanser leaves a mild pleasant fragrance on the skin after use. There is nothing very special about this product; only thing is it reduces the extra steps of toning & eye makeup removal. So this helps lazy people like me. 😀

Pros of Vichy Purete Thermale Demaquillant Integral One Step Cleanser

1. It eliminated 2 extra steps. Thus saves time.
2. Didn’t break me out even once.
3. Doesn’t make my skin oily
4. Makes skin soft.
5. Hypo allergic, great for sensitive skin.
6. Comes in a tube, so easy to carry around.

Cons of Vichy Purete Thermale Demaquillant Integral One Step Cleanser

1. Expensive, Rs. 890 for 200 ml.
2. Contains parabens. (Though I didn’t feel it was clogging my pores)
3. Contains alcohol. (Again I didn’t feel my skin getting dry or even oily)
4. Doesn’t come in a small pack, have to buy 200 ml.
5. Not easily available everywhere.

MY RATING FOR THIS PRODUCT: 3.5/5 (1 point minus for the price & half for availability issues)

WILL I BUY THIS AGAIN: Well haven’t yet decided. Let this get over then I will think about it.

  1. Nice that its a sample pack, or else I dont think its worth it to spend 890 for a facewash !!! I mean what were they thinking while selling face wash and other products :pan:

    1. Vichy is one of those expensive brands…when you see the name you just know the tag is going to be hefty….i guess it is take it or leave it.

  2. Taps this is a cleanser…more like clensing milk & not a facewash…usually we spend separately on facewash, clenser, eye makeup remover & toner….but this is all in one… 🙂
so it comes to almost the same price…. 😀

  3. i hav always seen vichy’s products in the malls here but nvr chked them coz of the high prices… this can be skipped as u say tht it is not anythng extraordinary.. n also coz of parabens n alcohol.. :nababana:

    1. nids…it does contain parabens & alcohol…but I never felt my pores blocked or even my skin dry out anytime ?:) ?:) ?:) ….I think this must contain a very small quantity of these monsters :daayan: ….maybe ?:)….but not bad to give it a try….

      1. haha yeah they are quite pricey but i guess thats cos they are imported from France and then added duty, taxes etc 🙁 🙁

  4. Vichy products are all a little on the expensive side, aren’t they? I have never tried any but I always read rave reviews for them..my friend got some samples from the counter and LOVED it!
