My Experience with VLCC Ayurveda Kesh Ayur Shakti Hair Oil:

Let’s begin with the packaging of the product. The hair oil comes in a sleek plastic bottle. The packaging is transparent, which helps to keep an eye on the amount of the product left inside. It closes very securely with a black colored flip-top cap; the cap closes very tightly, making a click sound and ensuring that this bottle is good for carrying around. The bottle has a label on its back, indicating necessary product related information. Overall, the packaging is sturdy and travel-friendly.

The hair oil has a typical medicinal kind of fragrance. The aroma is too strong and definitely bothering for some. Though it is bearable for me not everyone would like such weird strong fragrances. It stays for a really long time. It is relaxing. The hair oil is a translucent yellow colored liquid. The consistency is actually neither too thick nor too runny. It has the right consistency to massage into the scalp.

There is very little stickiness in the formula. It is lightweight and spreads easily. It feels so comfortable on the hair. It gives a soothing and relaxing feel. Now, coming to the point – how it exactly works on my hair. The oil is loaded with so many herbs. It contains some essential ingredients, which are known to do wonders on hair. It is a rich blend of herbs that provides nourishment to the hair. It instantly gives a refreshing cooling sensation. It really helps to release some stress.

It also contains herbs like amla, bhringraj, brahmi, methi, tulsi etc. – which are good for hair and promote hair growth. It makes my hair so soft and smooth. After every use, my hair becomes smooth and tangle free. It helps to manage scalp irritation and also helps in controlling dandruff. It has helped me in controlling hair fall up to some extent with regular usage. It is very easy to wash off in a single wash. It does not leave a sticky residue behind. Overall, this is a decent product for nourishing the hair.
