My Experience with VLCC Henna Natura Colour 4 Natural Brown:
This hair colour comes in a nice box with all the details about it. The box contains 10 pouches, which can be used 5 times. Inside the sachet, there is another silver pouch, which contains green colored henna powder. Each sachet contains 10 g, so this 100 g product is quite affordable.
The powder itself has a fine smooth texture and there are some white particles too. I have to put the powder in a bowl and mix it with some hot water to make a smooth paste. Initially, I took one pouch but then I had to use one more to cover the entire hair. So basically, I need two pouches for her medium length hair.
The paste feels smooth and soft and spreads easily with a brush. It reaches each hair strand and does not irritate the scalp. It never feels patchy or sticky. I can adjust the consistency according to my liking. I prefer to apply it from the roots to tips of the hair and keep it on for 30 minutes. After that I rinse it off with normal water. I prefer to shampoo my hair the next day.
It’s an ammonia-free natural product and has a mild fragrance. It is safe to use and does not have any side effects. But as a hair colour, it can’t provide the perfect results. The product can’t hide grey hair and just gives a light brown stain, which barely covers the grey tone.
The color looks almost blackish-brown on her deep hair colour. So it could not lighten her natural hair color. It doesn’t make hair dry or rough. It also provides a smooth texture to the hair that looks good initially, but it’s a temporary result, which fades away soon.
The product did not cause hair fall or any hair problem. It is pretty safe to use but the effect is very poor. Also, the color doesn’t last long; even that light brown stain has started to look faded. It has a low staying power and it starts to look faded with regular hair wash. I also couldn’t notice the benefits of henna. Even basic henna can color your hair better than this. This color can’t add any henna like shine or health.
