Yardley London English Lavender Refreshing Facial Cleanser Review

Yardley London English Lavender Refreshing Facial Cleanser Review

Remember I had reviewed a Yardley Facial Foam that I had really liked, that product prompted me to get another face wash from Yardley – its the Lavender Refreshing Facial Cleanser.  Those who like strong fragrances would love this, I would tell you more about it, but here’s a little info about the product.

Product Description:

This rich nourishing face wash cleanses tenderly and removes makeup and impurities.  The nutrient packed avocado oil supplements the skin’s natural moisture and softness.  Leaving it clean, hydrated, and delicately fragrant with Yardley’s signature English Lavender.

My Take on Yardley London English Lavender Refreshing Facial Cleanser:

This face wash comes in an attractive purple-colored packaging.  The product smells strongly fragrant and has talc-like scent.  Sensitive noses will not like it much, but I am quite okay with it.  This cleanser is gel like in consistency and lathers well.  I don’t feel it cleanses skin well because I don’t get a squeaky clean feeling with it. Its not effective in removing waterproof makeup either. This particular variant of face wash is for dry skin and I have oily skin, so I feel it would work a little better for those with dry and normal skin type.

Yardley English Lavender 2

The USP of this face wash is that it does not dry out the skin and does not rip off the moisture from the skin, but that’s that, it works like an average face wash, and there’s nothing special about it which would make you pick it up a second time.  It has a very strong fragrance and might be a put off for those who don’t like fragrant stuff, so sniff it before buying.

  7. You experiment so much with face washes and masks Jomol! I lurrrrrrvveeee the pics here! But wont pick it up – I hate face washes with strong fragrances and ones that dont leave a tight stretchy feeling 🙁

  8. I have been using the same face wash for almost 2 months now, and i actually like it a lot. I have dry skin, so i guess it suits better on my skin. It doesnt dry out or stretch the skin and the smell is good too 🙂 People with dry skin can give it a go as its pretty cheap 😉
