My Experience with Zoya Nail Polish in Piaf:

When I first received this product, I wasn’t too sure how I felt about this color. I was thinking it will be a slight transparent color with golden sparkles. But when I actually applied it, I started liking this color very much. This Zoya nail polish comes in the classic clear bottle with a black top. The applicator brush is decent, gets the job done while picking up decent amount of product. Not too little and not too much.

The color Piaf is a yellow shade, at first I thought it was just a classic golden sparkle shade, but the color is actually very yellow itself. The product claims to be metallic which is slightly true but I feel it is more soft than metallic. It is perfect for the spring season that is coming up. The product itself is super thick, a bit too thick for my liking. I feel it clumps up together because it is so thick; it is much thicker than any nail polish that I have used. In fact it is much thicker than my other Zoya nail polishes. The opacity of the color is very good. I just need to apply two coats and that is more than enough.

It leaves no brush strokes or harsh lines on my nails. It also lasts very long, for me it lasts about 6 to 7 days without chipping if I am extra careful with my hands. It says it will last up to 14 days but only if you follow the instructions I have listed above, but since I do not own all the products mentioned, I wasn’t able to follow thoroughly (so it might have even lasted me longer). Though it lasts long, removing this nail paint can be a pain. I feel like the sparkle is hard to remove if you do not apply a base coat to start off.

Apart from that, Zoya nail polishes are free from harsh chemicals, so that’s always a plus point. Overall, this is a great polish and Zoya brand creates fantastic nail polish formulas that gives other nail polish brands a run for their money.

Pros of Zoya Nail Polish in Piaf:

  • Pretty color.
  • Good opacity.
  • Long lasting color.
  • Free of harsh chemicals.

Cons of Zoya Nail Polish in Piaf:

  • Formula is too thick.
  • Hard to remove.
