Dabur Gulabari Moisturising Lotion with Natural Sunscreen & Rose Extracts
Most of you girls might have the used the much acclaimed Dabur Gulabari Rose water & swear by its efficacy, but for some reason it had always stung my skin, so when I saw the Dabur Gulabari Moisturising lotion, I decided to give it a try & see if this would work for me & here’s my take on that.
What does Dabur Claim about this Moisturising lotion: Dabur Gulabari Moisturising Lotion with natural rose extracts derives its goodness from Dabur Gulabari Rose water. It is enriched with natural rose oil & key actives which work in 3 ways-
Nourishes- Rose Oil & rose extracts help nourish your skin from within, removing dryness & leaving your skin soft & supple.
Moisturizes- Glycerine & other actives help moisturize your skin leaving it radiant & soft.
Protects- Provitamin E Helps protect your skin against skin-damaging elements, leaving it soft & untouched.

My Experience: The Gulabari lotion comes in a plastic bottle with a flip cap. The lotion is very runny & glides very smoothly on the skin & within few minutes it completely disappears into the skin. It makes my skin soft & supple & gives a radiance to it, leaving the skin moisturised for at least 4-5 hours. The fragrance is little heavy when compared to the Gulab Jal, as soon as you apply the lotion you may not like the overwhelming fragrance but after sometime it kind of settles down. To check how long the fragrance lasts, I washed my hands after using it & when I snuffed it was still there but it was mild. If you are someone who wants to have the fragrance lingering for long, you will definitely like this because the fragrance lasts until you take a bath. This does deliver all its claims about nourishment & making the skin soft & supple.
Pros of the Dabur Gulabari Moisturising Lotion
• Provides great moisturisation for dry skin.
• Gets absorbed within few minutes & doesn’t leave a shine or greasiness.
• Affordable at Rs.45 for 100ml.
• Except the provitamin benefits, it does deliver what it claims.
• Packaging is simple, can be easily carried in a bag.
• The scent mildly lingers even after washing my hands.
Cons of the Dabur Gulabari Moisturising Lotion
• It’s too heavy to be tried on face, will work only as nice body lotion.
• Will not suit oily skin. The company doesn’t mention which skin type the product suits, but from my experience it will only suit dry skin.
• Has parabens.
• The flip cap it too tight, I need to use the edge of a table to open it.
• Some people may not like the fragrance; it has an overwhelming synthetic smell.
Will I repurchase this? Yes.
Will I recommend this? Yes, I will recommend this as a nice body lotion for people with dry skin who are on a budget.

Really! Tapaswini they have Rs.5 bottle :)) :thanks:
Nice review Uzma. Seems to be a great product for this rate. But have been eyeing Biotique Moisturising Lotion- Morning nectar/ saffron dew cream for everyday moisturization, have dry skin.
I have normal to dry skin , but Saffron youth dew cream name is attractive but its not upto the mark, skin becomes very dull, its left unused in my case.
:thanks: Riya
